Lynch should've been fired after Lance

I have seen the light... You sir are correct

At least the lance trade kept us from drafting 2 years of 1st round head scratchers.

It is interesting to me that Kyle's offense requires a RB who can do very specific things, and Kyle can articulate exactly what those things are, but Kyle cannot seem to connect that to an actual human.

Because there are very few people that have that skill set. Hence why CMC rarely takes a play off. It isnt rocket science....

He falls in love with the most ill fitting RBs and I just dont get it. It'd be one thing if they were great system fits in every way but just happened to fail, instead he keeps trying to draft Alfred Morris knockoffs every single year.
My heart and stomach dropped with the Black pick. They look clueless and nobody will face any consequences for these awful decisions. They arent serious about winning a super bowl. Im at a loss for words
Can anyone defend this pick?

we leave the first 3 rounds with three depth pieces at WR, RB and EDGE? No potential starters?

Can't coach lack of talent.

Those 10 year old boys made that pick

Those 10 year olds most likely play Madden football... ain't no way they would even start, let alone draft, rbs like this little slow guy and the one from last year..

We're falling in love with film but real talk these guys have got to be able to play on Sunday because this ain't college and this ain't Saturday

What people fail to remember every year is that of the 260 or so drafted players each year, only about 2-3 will have Hall of Fame caliber careers, and only about 21 will be undisputedly good picks.

Only about two dozen players every draft will go on to have significant careers performing at a high level. That's not a lot - less than one genuinely good player per team each year.

The draft is a total crap shoot most of the time.

Doesn't mean you don't try

He is right though. An overwhelming majority of these players will never really play snaps or have any meaningful impact.

2026 -- Kaelon Black

It's fair to judge 2017-2024 at this point. There's only one player on that list that contributed anything (Elijah Mitchell) and he was a 6th round pick. The rest were all busts. Jordan James looked good though. But yeah, why pick another RB in the 3rd round when you have bigger issues at OL?

This is the difference between the Dynasty Years and now, is the drafting. Trey Lance is an example of a brain dead perspective on the draft. I think Mac Jones plust three first round picks would have equalled a Brock Purdy. I thought last years draft was indicative of ShanaLynch drafting better, but unfortunately it doesn't look that way right now.

We must have a few vet deals already done.

Cowboys are killing it.

💯 winning a SB before SF, no debate.
Lol, have you seen Dak in the playoffs?

Nope but I see an update roster, two legit WR1s. They're going farther than SF next season. Cope.
Based on the draft? Please.

Emmett Johnson or Singleton were perfect fits.
They lost to the Seahawks twice because their O-Line could not move their D-Line at all. Their response to that was to draft a WR and a RB.

Even if they do, Stribling was a massive reach and this RB pick is trash. There is no justification for this.

Can't be defended. This is gambling mentality. One more spin of the RB roulette wheel, surely the next one will be the winner.

I do want to say, this forum has felt refreshing this draft. I feel like in years past a good chunk of people were always defending their stupid ass draft picks.

For whatever reason, it's like 90% of this board is in agreement now on the picks.

It's because we've seen this story before, obviously. I can't believe we're going to roll out basically the same 5 starters on the OLine especially after Seattle manhandled them the last two games. And other teams manhandled them. I think our OLine kind of sucks and Brock makes up for it.

The chiefs trade up and reach for a corner in the first round? Who cares they've won 3 SBs and still have Mahomes. We reach on another WR, take an undersized lineman, and then pick a RB? Oh no here we flockin go again
