Ja'Kobi Lane is nice. I would love to see him in the 49ers' offense.

Fields is too slow.

Give me any two of the following and we are in much better shape.

1. Omar Cooper Jr (27)
2. Antonio Williams (58)
3. Ted Hurst (58)
4. Kendrick Law (92)

Throw in Malik Benson, Tyren Montgomery, or Bryce Lance as a 3rd WR we can get in the 4th round of the draft and WR room is fixed.

A Cooper Jr + Kendrick Law combo is my dream.

Did a mock sim today with a couple trade downs - I think we should try to get 10 picks in this draft. Traded down twice from 27 to 33 and picked up 103, 106, and a 2027 NYJ 3rd and gave up 172. Then traded 103 for 109 and 169. Then traded 109 for 112 and 180.

33. Max Iheanachor OT
58. Antonio Williams WR
92. Febechi Nwaiwu G
106. Kendrick Law WR
112. Chris McClellan DT
127. Malik Benson WR
133. Zane Durant DT
138. Max Llewellyn EDGE
168. Sam Roush TE
180. Trey Zuhn C

Something like that allows for taking three WRs to restock the WR with legit talent. With no trade backs do not have that luxury.

Listening to Steve Smith talk about him…he's not a fan

Interesting. I got to check out what he says. The Senior Bowl stuff got me interested. Then I watched the Notre Dame game, and Jakobi was cooking dudes. Dude is a slick mover at 6-4, 200 pounds and has some crafty releases and route running.

I don't get how he can look soo smooth and natural catching the ball, and then have to many drops. He's got some of the most insane one-handed catches.

This is some filthy s**t at 6-4, 200

he is so raw though i am surprised he came out this year he couldve used another year he wouldve been a first round pick his tape is not that good you are drafting him based on potential
Best OT still left on the board.

So Max Iheanachor or Blake Miller then

Grab Pregnon/Rutledge at #58 and the OL is vastly improved in the present and the future.

27. Iheanachor OT
58. Pregnon/Rutledge G

Iheanachor could be better than McKivitz already to throw at RT this year - wonder if McKivitz has any trade value ...
Currently there are plenty of second round player that I think can develop. I would not be upset if they trade out of first and pick up extra second. If they had 3 or 4 second round pick would be great. Players are going to still move up and down draft boards. Second rounders like Anthony Hill Jr.- LB, Derrick Moore- EDGE, Chris Brazzell II- WR, Christen Miller- DT, Max Klare - TE, Kamari Ramsey- S, would all be nice player the 49er could use. I still picture them using pick 27 on someone like KC Concepcion- WR. and in second drafting a DT or Edge rusher. I only hope someone fall to pick 27 That we all like.
Assuming we lock up Williams after getting Osa and Evans a S and EDGE are moving up the board for me on players to take with #27 i wouldnt mind a WR who can play in slot like KC and Cooper Jr

My Big board of likely avaliable players at pick 27

1) Dillon Thieneman
2) TJ Parker
3) KC Concepcion
4) Akheem Mesidor
5) Omar Cooper Jr
6) Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
After the Osa trade they are probably looking to trade back and recoup the third they gave up for him.

Lomu?
Now that they got Williamsd and Osa their immediate needs can focus a little more on OL, edge or safety. They still can address WR and TE in a later round. I can see them trading two 4ths to move up into the 3rd if they think someone will be there that they want.
Fix the OL. We need to find a successor for Trent that can in the meantime play next to him & learn from him at LG (I believe the Niners figure out Trent's contract situation & he remains a Niner). 2nd round grab the best WR or Edge. If I see another DL prospect drafted by this regime in the 1st I might lose my 💩
