Could he play G his first year?

He will be a career guard

We're picking at #27 a career stud guard is a OK with me. Especially the way ours got pushed around vs Seattle.

He kept flashing in the ASU game. Great instincts for the position.

Where's Markel Bell and his almost 37 inch arms?

What a ridiculously massive human being.

He's awesome. Butkus and Bednarik award winner. He's a guy worthy of the 3rd round pick we burned on Martin last year; I'll always believe they could have got him later, like two rounds later

Yeah was not thrilled about that. Even more so now.

Absolutely love Rodriguez -- highlighted him in the LBs thread: https://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/nfl-draft/198396-lb-2026-draft-class/

Turnover forcing machine. Would be insane next to Fred.

Let's say Martin makes a return and ready to start. Can they get all 3 on the field (I.e Warner/greenlaw/al- Shaair) in either Bradley or Schwartz defensive scheme?

I don't think the Niners need to worry about too many LBers right now, they had street FAs playing by the end of the year. Someone like Rodriguez could help the SAM spot at least, play special teams and cover the flat and curl routes too. Winters needs competition and I think they grab a LBer in the draft for sure, just how early is the question

Thanks. Would be ideal if he drops to the 3rd. And agree on winters. He made a minor jump, but wasn't really what I was expecting and he really tailed off after Warner. Still gave high hopes for Martin

Winters is a fast flow linebacker, but is not consistent enough, nor big enough to get off blocks regularly. Despite his speed he doesn't cover that great either or force turnovers at a high rate.

Rodriguez and Fred would be like freaking Dre and Fred all over again.
Rodriguez really is a stud. He just has *it*
Bud Clark ideal tone setting safety. Turnover machine

Gennings dunker is a huge upgrade at LG

Max ilhenachor looks very good and would be perfect pick to sit and learn from trent for a year.

Caleb Banks looked dominant in practice today.

Questions are about how KS will mess this draft up

Why are people constantly hating on our drafts I feel we're as good as any team we are talented enough where we can have injuries to multiple all pro players and still compete for number 1 seed

I think the end goal is to win the super bowl. 49ers are no where close to that. Bosa was the last and only time that they hit on a 1st rd pick. That's by sheer coincidence that the Cardinals took Murray. Please look at the last 8 drafts and convince yourself that youre ok with at least 50% of the picks.
