He's awesome. Butkus and Bednarik award winner. He's a guy worthy of the 3rd round pick we burned on Martin last year; I'll always believe they could have got him later, like two rounds later

I don't think the Niners need to worry about too many LBers right now, they had street FAs playing by the end of the year. Someone like Rodriguez could help the SAM spot at least, play special teams and cover the flat and curl routes too. Winters needs competition and I think they grab a LBer in the draft for sure, just how early is the question

Thanks. Would be ideal if he drops to the 3rd. And agree on winters. He made a minor jump, but wasn't really what I was expecting and he really tailed off after Warner. Still gave high hopes for Martin
