Is he a better single high safety than Zakee Wheatley?

Nope. That would be my pick for best single high safety in the draft.

AJ Haulcy out of LSU, Bud Clark out of TCU and Jalon Kilgore out of South Carolina are my favorite that should be available in rd 2-3

Kilgore is such a Lynch pick with his versatility

Good at pass defense, not so much in run support. Is that you John?

Just got done watching him - absolutely horrendous tape. Jayir Brown 2.0 -- actually even worse -- awful tackler, and cannot cover. In fact, the tape was so horrific I'm not even putting him on my board.

On the flip side, I checked out a bunch of cut-ups and watched everything I could find on Texas S Michael Taaffe. The kid looks special. The way he reads the play and FLIES to the ball is absolutely fantastic. He's not a crazy physical specimen, sitting at 6-0 190, but he's an awesome football player. Led all safeties in the nation in coverage grades since 2024. Also was part of a crew (including CB Malik Muhammad) that shut down Ohio State's amazing trio of WRs and only allowed them 14 total points on the day.
Firm Day 2 pick, probably R2 grade from me on Michael Taaffe.

Really noticed him last year. Instincts are phenomenal and he's always around the ball despite not having tremendous athleticism.

OTC have you watched Bishop Fitzgerald out of USC? Ramsey getting all the hype and overshadowing this kid but I think he's kind of flying under the radar. If we miss out on all these guys we've listed; I wouldn't mind taking a flier on him later in the draft
