WRs: 2026 Draft Class

I need to see more Concepcion but I'm not totally convinced yet that he's a top 50 guy. I have seen some good reps and good improvement over his prior season, but, I feel like he should've been more productive than he was.

I don't know if this is the outside receiver we're looking for.

The Marcel Reed Effect. When the QB doesn't have a great arm, doesn't have great accuracy and routinely gets the ball out late.

I ask myself watching him, without paying attention to the QB, is this a guy who has a high chance to dominate at the next level for a team. And I can't say yes at this point.

I see a solid number two possibly, a top 75 talent. We need a multidimensional WR1 Who can with both speed and size Imo. Make defenses match both.

I'm with you OTC; when I watch him I just don't see a WR1. I wouldn't use a first round pick on him personally, I feel like I'd get better value with other guys day two
From what I've seen so far, among guys we'd have a chance at, I can see the following being WR1 type of guys:

1) Germie Bernard, Alabama
2) Ted Hurst, Georgia State
3) Chris Brazzell II, Tennesseee
4) Denzel Boston, Washington
5) Omar Cooper, Indiana
6) Elijah Sarratt, Indiana
7) Chase Roberts, BYU (with development)
8) Eric McAlister, TCU - if he has grown up a ton and decides not to be a massive headcase in the NFL.
9) Tyren Montgomery, John Carroll (with deveopment)
10) Malachi Fields, Notre Dame

There are plenty of others who could be good #2s. A sleeper is Reggie Virgil. Kind of reminds me of a taller version of Addison without the character issues.

This is one of the most stacked receiver classes I've ever seen, personally.

He may not be a WR 1 but he is a complete mismatch nightmare I think he's worth using a round 1 pick on especially if we have Jennings and pearsall if we draft him in first round and lose Jennings I tubing we need a true X

he isn't a guy who will get 5+ targets a game but he is a deep threat and a guy who you can give manufactures touches to who you can create mismatches with

I'm very early in the process, but Denzel Boston is my guy at WR(so far). I don't even know what to list off because there's so many things I like about him, but I love toughness and competitiveness. I need that in my WRs when the ball is in the air, after the catch and blocking. A big body that runs surprisingly smooth routes* with ball skills, strong hands and is competitive and tough as hell. I do wish he was a little better with the ball in his hands.

Elijah Sarratt is likely not going run a good 40 but I don't care. He runs his routes with conviction and is always open ("Waffle House" is his nickname).

Good ball skills. Great YAC ability.

Omar Cooper is probably the better athlete but I think I prefer Sarratt.

Consider me firmly in the Cooper camp

Speaking of guys who should be available to us; my guy is Germie Bernard. I'm all aboard that wagon and would love if we could get him with our 2nd pick

Great comp.

I've seen Michael Pittman comps for him too, which I think is also a good comparison.

I think that Malachi Fields definitely looks like a Shanahan WR.
