He's a YAC machine and would be a great compliment to Purdy especially if Jennings is gone. Nobody will replace prime Deebo but he has elite size and burst. There is no doubt he is a playmaker. Which we need desperately. Clean ACL tears are total non stories these days. 9-10 months of recovery and you're back to normal. It's a non factor to me. And the latest report is teams feel like he will be ready for TC.

What do you mean who cares? This team isn't a WR away from being back. They could upgrade just about everywhere. Draft whomever is highest on their board. kinda where we're at in this retooling.

I'm not really seeing some YAC machine. I guess I'm gonna need to find more stuff to watch. He doesn't come off as very savvy route runner. Not twitchy or very good separating (which is what we need). Toss in a ACL? I mean we're not getting him on some discount because of the current injury either. Pass

I agree. No question we need WR helps but reaching for one isn't going to help. Take BPA at 27 or trade down(and even then I'd say go BPA)

I think there are a lot of intriguing WR prospects in this class who could turn into really good players but due to different issues aren't worth a first round grade.

If Cooper is gone and there is a run on WR taking guys who should go in round 2 is bad business. Take whichever OL/DL/DB that falls as a result of that run and improve the team.

Try to sign a decent WR in FA so we're even less desperate otherwise try to snag a guy to develop and potentially find a gem in the later rounds to add to FA addition, Pearsall, Cowing, Watkins group.

There are a lot of really good WRs entering the league every year. Reaching for guys who aren't good enough isn't ideal when we have so many holes to hit.

He asked me about one player. Not the entire offseason. This whole thing is an inexact (very inexact) science. Let it rip and see where it falls.

You don't draft for performance in Sept 2026. You draft to add long term assets. Who cares about week 1 when it comes to the draft. That's not the point.

Sorry, but this doesn't make a lot of sense

Okie dokie. Have a good day
Hearing Lemon bombed his interviews with teams. Disastrous was the term used. Can't believe the Zoolander b******t threw teams off

But Imagine the look on Shanny / Lynch when they heard about Chris Bell and his injury

For some reason I get the vibe that Caleb Williams would love him

I'm betting 2023 made them feel special together. Real deep bond that only they know the depths of. Being Calebs receiver changed him

Bro left the best wide receiver in the game off his top 3. He definitely showed up high.

Comped him to Julian Edelman https://sportspyder.com/sports/nfl/articles/55709774

Would be hilarious if they drafted him, just to make things really awkward.

Shouldn't we consider him at 127, 133, or 138 with that 4.34 40 time + his height?

Not sure if that 4.34 bumped him up from late 4th to late 3rd ...

Would not be mad if we drafted him ... the atonement to make up for Trey with the Lance that can really play

Ithink he will be a 2nd round pick.

For folks still holding onto that #5 (Lance) jersey... maybe keep holding on

That s**t is so weird; I'm not sure if it's intentional or what?? Wouldn't touch him with our first now but if he's still there on day two?

Bro has that druggie look. Crazy dark under-eye bags for only being 21 years old. He looks exactly like my tweaked out old homie who was addicted to benzos. I wouldn't be surprised if Makai was high off a few at the presser.

Hell of a player but something is off.

If you watch the whole interview (I just did) then it's not as bad as just seeing clips IMO. Seems like one of the reporters may have pissed him off a little when stating something about his size in the question; that's when the demeanor changed, I dunno just spitballing.

I looked at an interview from him in college and it's completely different?? He's fine here

I change my mind with my earlier statement; I hope this causes him to slip to us now, he'd be a freaking steal at 27. His route running is second to none in the class. Kid is a beast on the field and maybe literally turns into one off of it when pissed

I was the OP that asked you about Bell.

I understand your stance, that it's not an exact science…that said why do you have to reach on someone for the sake of it? We've consistently done that and for the most part it's been an epic failure. A team that's constantly dealing with injuries and using a 1st on one? Not even taking advantage of the discount of the injury?

as far as the prospect it's self. I'm not seeing it, he comes off a stiff, can't separate vs man, & doesn't have amazing hands. IMO he's not a 1st rd player if healthy.

Correct, you don't draft for sept 26 BUT this team isn't full of amazing young talent right now. They need guys on the field. I think other rosters can absorb stuff like a torn ACL player who might be a bigger part of the team in a year…that's not what we are right now.

I did laugh at this comment I saw on twitter

You can't deny the talent. We've had our share of crazy before...it's all about keeping it in check.

Odds are some team is going to get a really good player in him, question is for how long. Either way I hope it's an AFC team that pulls the trigger on taking him. But I see no way he drops to us...if he does. I'm taking that gamble 100%.
Man, Bryce lance is a good player, but hes got zero swag. I never use the word dork, but I cant think of a better word to describe him haha.

The interviews and visits will determine what's up with him.

I don't think he's some elite talent that makes all the other stuff not matter so much.

So he's treating the reporters like DBs, running away, separating and trash talking
