Got me really wanting Concepcion

I am already guessing he will be long gone by our pick.

I highly doubt that.

I ain't gonna lie, I still badly want Concepcion, but I won't cry if Kyle decides to draft Boston with the 27th pick if he makes it past the Steelers. This kid has the skill set that will allow him to be a good player for a long time in this league.

Kyle's offense would look completely different if we draft Boston and grab Mike Evans to show him the ropes. Our RZO would be very hard to stop. We just need Ricky, Cowing, and Watkins to stay healthy to give us that needed speed element on the field.

Evans
Boston
Pearsall
Watkins
Cowing

I can live with that for a season or two
i think there is a chance Jordan Tyson drops because of his health and now he isnt participating in combine drills due to recovery and teams may take KC and Boston over him.

If thats the case we have to draft him i know people will slam the pick because "another injured WR" but this is a top 5 talent i think he is the cloest blue chip prospect at the WR position (to be clear i dont think he is a blue chip).

if we get Evans or Doubbs id rather go another position in round 1 especially DL or S its a deep WR class

I think his floor is Michael Pittman or Allen Lazard, but he has the tools to be a damn good big bodied WR like Courtland Sutton if he reaches his ceiling. I'd be happy with that from a late 1st. The kid is a dog on the field and we need that with Jennings most likely leaving.

Hell, we even have an opportunity to pair Boston with a guy many try to compare him to in Mike Evans. That would be a hell of a teacher to learn from for a season or two, and would give us 2 big bodies who can beat press. We just need Ricky to stay healthy and our WR depth chart would be greatly improved and cheaper with those two additions.

With the 27th pick, Boston would be BPA and we better not overthink it to grab a lineman UNLESS Proctor falls into our laps and we just can't resist drafting him to plug him in at LG until Trent retires.
I feel like the only one who doesn't love KC.

Give me Brazzell, Boston, or Cooper.

I'm not high on KC either, not as a 1st round pick at least. I'd take Sarratt, Malachi Fields or Cooper before Concepcion.
I want nothing to do with Boston, are we ever planning to get guys who can get deep and have defenses respect them deep? We have all these damn slow guys and wonder why we can't run the ball when defenses don't respect none of our WRs

The more I see the more I'm wanting Cooper Jr over the rest. Ideally a small trade back to the early 30s and pick up a couple extra picks.

I'm resigned to us picking him at #27 as it allows no desperation for WR the rest of the draft and we go heavy DL for pass rush in rounds 2/3 and then OL in the 4th. I just really want him to be fast and run a sub 4.45 40 to go along with his tape. If no trades...

27. Cooper Jr WR
58. Malachi Lawrence EDGE
92. Darrell Jackson Jr./Chris McClellan DT
127. Zane Durant DT (trade up to 110-115ish if we must)
133. Febechi Nwaiwu G
138. JC Davis OT
171. Thaddeus Dixon CB
248. Pat Coogan C

If they go WR early then I want Cooper, Concepcion or Brazell.

I think there is better value in picking up Bell and Law later on.

The former top-100 recruit and Alabama transfer was a part of Bruce Feldman's Freaks List in 2024. Law previously benched 465 and squatted 655 while in Tuscaloosa while also hitting 23.2 mph. After leading UK in targets (64), receptions (53), and receiving yards (540), Law has a chance to post some big testing numbers in the 40 and other speed and agility drills. This receiver could be a big winner on the Relative Athletic Score.

My hope is that JJ and FO can come to an agreement, then they sign another proven vet in FA. If that's the case, are there any WRs in day 2 or 3 who are physical, fast and can catch the deep ball.?
