Not dudes from Toledo. There's guys in the Hula and Shrine Bowl every year that would kill for a slot in the Senior Bowl to show what they can do against the best competition.
If the report that's out there is accurate then its not a great look. The Senior Bowl is a tremendous opportunity to boost your draft stock, not competing because you believe it might expose you....

Honestly, Derrick Moore losing his cool is more worrisome than McNeil-Warren dropping out of the Senior Bowl. That's just my opinion though.
It's concerning to me but we also don't know the reason he pulled out. I find it hard to believe he's concerned about his tape…his speed doesn't see to be an issue on tape.
The tape isn't easy to evaluate. The best athlete will always look fast against sup-bar competition. And Toledo isn't exactly a powerhouse program going up against great teams. Sure, you can find studs at those types of schools (like Mitchell). But, for me, it makes the evaluation that much harder.
Agree. We've seen it firsthand with Trey. Clearly we thought he was faster than he ended up being.
We'll see if EMW avoids working out at the combine. That would concern me more…tho seems like more guys are starting to do that which is really frustrating when you're trying to evaluate based on other players with similar test scores.
My guess if anything his agents told him it's safer for him to skip so he doesn't get paired up with the super quick slot type guys who he would struggle with in 1 on 1s. He definitely seems a better player baiting the QB, playing zone and making plays with his length.
