I thought he had a chance to be a good WR

watson had a quality game dropped a td in the bucket that boston couldn't quite hold on to he should have had it, rook looked good

I was big on Boston, but Stribling looks like he could be also be very good. It just blows that he got hurt.

Stribling has more speed where Boston is more of a contested catch guy both are good but in our system I think we wanted a bit more speed

I personally hate this mindset/draft philosophy.

Just draft good players. Focusing on specific attributes is how you end with a bunch of whiffs like the 49ers have in the last 5 years.

BINGO.
Damn Boston learning from Evans woulda been amazing. Hopefully Strib will be even better
I think it's already pretty obvious. Boston was NFL ready. Stribling may have been too but we won't know now until later. Sure hope we somehow still wound up with the better player but it's hard to watch Boston ball out every week in the meantime..
KC or Boston would have been great picks imo.

hoping Strib comes back and shows why he should have been the pick over Boston.
I would've gone Howell or Boston with the first pick. Boston is balling and Howell leads all rookies in pressures.

We just have to remain positive and wait and see. The pick feels so much worse right now because Strib is hurt. We'd be feeling a lot better if he was on the field doing the stuff he was doing in the preseason. Maybe they didn't draft the BPA, but I think Strib showed enough that they didn't miss the pick.

I mean... Yeah... Dude is a future star. He'd be doing amazing here, man.
Seeing what Evans is doing against Seattle makes this sting even more. You need size and length to attack 1) Seattle over the middle on those layered throws 2) outside the numbers down the field. Boston was exactly what they needed on the outside.

Water under the bridge. Give it a rest.

Numerous times, during my many pff mock drafts, I had us selecting Denzel with our 1st round pick. I was envisioning a twin tower offense these two would bring when playing together. And Boston would obviously be the heir apparent to Evans after he retired. I still have high hopes for Stribling. However, looking back at my draft, even though Boston was in my 1st round range, I would have picked Omar Cooper Jr. Jury remains on him, but I was thinking Deebo with better separation lol.

I thought Strib looked good in TC and Pre Season.
