Brashard Smith-RB-SMU

I always like play makers from SMU
One of my favorite/sleeper RBs of this class. Scheme fit. Explosive laterally and vertically. Great vision. Solid hands as a former wideout, like you said. Gets skinny in between tackles. Would have been a great compliment to a bruiser like Mason. Still, he would be super intriguing under Kyle.

For the past two months, along with Dont'e Thornton, usually manage to snag him in simulators in our money round.

HELL YES. Was waiting for someone to create a thread about this dude. Thanks Phoenix

My favorite RB in the draft - mentioned it a few times the last couple weeks.

1. Ran a 4.36
2. Converted WR to RB so he can run routes and catch
3. He is an excellent KR which is useful with Deebo gone.

Must, must, must, get him. Draft him at #113 or #138 to make sure he's ours.

And gotta get RJ Harvey too somehow. Maybe with #113 or #138 lol.

May be able to get him at #160 but that is risky. Absolute latest gotta try and get him at #147 and preferably earlier to secure his services 100%

And Harvey needs to be drafted even earlier than Brashard. That's why trade back in the 1st and/or 2nd round a few picks to net us 3 additional picks in the 3rd/4th rounds gets this done and we get BOTH of them. This is how it could look with just two trade backs. I honestly don't care where you trade back in the first 3 rounds all it takes is two and get 3 additional picks allowing for RJ Harvey and Brashard Smith while addressing our other holes.

#22. Walter Nolen DL (from LAC going up for Tyler Warren - they have a boatload of draft capital to make this aggressive play)
#48. Bradyn Swinson EDGE (from MIA)
#55. TJ Sanders DL (from LAC) *
#75 Jared Wilson C
#98. CJ West DL (from MIA) *
#100. Josh Farmer DL
#113. RJ Harvey RB
#138. Dont'e Thornton / Kyle Williams WR (personally I prefer Williams but since you like Thornton :) and I won't complain with 6'4 4.30 speed lol)
#147. Brashard Smith RB (trade up to #139 if necessary lol)
#158. Luke Kendra / Marcus Tate G (from LAC) *
#160. Teddye Buchanan / Jeffrey Bassa LB
#227. Craig Woodson S
#249. Nazir Stackhouse NT
#252. LeJohntay Webster WR

In a deep running back class these are the only two guys I really like after the top 5 guys.

I'd put a Tackle (i.e. Puni's former teammate, Logan Brown) in there for Farmer but a lot of great picks.
I'm only half a game in watching this kid, but I'm on board. He runs with so much more patience and feel than Blue, and is just as good as a Receiver. Lateral movement is great, and there's some power and contact balance considering his size.

While he's not going to plough straight through people, he can force arm tackles that he can break. Reminds me of Bucky Irving.
