Yes! I watched the Miami Vs Virginia Tech game and was so much more impressed by Tuten. I don't see it with Martinez at all, but Tuten I can get behind.

He looks like Devon Achane.

As a plus, very durable and available. Also great ball security, rarely fumbles. I really love his ability to power through a bunch of trash and come out clean.
what a run from Damien Martinez.

stays vertical on his path, runs through a tackle, switches the ball to the outside arm (!) and finishes with a TD. https://t.co/TlJfQby27v pic.twitter.com/5oSLezdoTD
every Damien Martinez run should feature Chris Berman noises pic.twitter.com/h32YNv7XAN

And to go with that he has this incredible power to his game too. Really undervalued player. pic.twitter.com/PgIK2Ff5U6

This is the guy you hand off the ball to when you're up late in the 4th quarter and let him take the defense for a ride. I think Martinez is more of what Kyle was hoping to get from Trey Sermon.

Also a weapon on kick returns. He didn't play much special teams this past season but in 2023 he was top 10 in college football in return average and had two tds on kickoffs.

Two very different types of RBs that fill different roles. Martinez is definitely more thunder to Tuten's lightning.
The concern with Tuten, as with Mostert early in his career is that he struggles with putting the ball on the ground too often.

100 percent on the fumbling issues. I trust that is something Turner can coach out of him though. And I agree they are very different type of backs. I just put it in here because there really isn't a RB thread.
Kyle seems to favor the Tuten type of backs a little more than the bigger thunder type of backs though imo. (Not saying that there haven't been exceptions.) I think he prefers the quicker ones that can hit the hole quickly and accelerate upfield or get to the edge. Tuten actually gives me Mostert type of vibes ironically.

I feel like Martinez is much of everything that Kyle was hoping to get from Trey Sermon. A more inside the tackles runner, a guy that can pick up the small yardage with his cutting ability and power.
I wouldn't be surprised though to see them draft a guy like Tuten who like you said is quite similar to Mostert in a lot of ways. RJ Harvey is another that I expect them to take a very close look at. I think they actually already met with him.

only 8.2% of runs were stuffed
#1 in class
6.7 YPC in runs between tackles
#2 in class
37% of runs gained a 1st down

6-foot, 217/4.51 40.
Big, powerful, sudden. Has the footwork/patience to operate in tight quarters. And there's thunder in his pads on contact (below).
Swings, check downs in the pass game. Early down fit in the pros. pic.twitter.com/u8grA2pojH
