With the likelihood that Deebo gets traded, Bech becomes an especially interesting name. A very physical receiver that excels in contested catch situations, he blew up big time at the Senior Bowl and ended up being MVP of the game too. That also came shortly after his brother Tiger was killed in the New Orleans truck attack. This guy is tough as nails, very adept at finding the soft spots in zone coverage and looks to be someone that can be moved around at WR but will primarily figure in the slot at the NFL level. Like Jennings, he's got that dog in him and is a ferocious blocker that looks to bury defenders rather than just get hands on them. I like how you're thinking. Bech is a dog and love his confidence in contested catch situations. He said there are no 50/50 balls. Bech has said that he's "a monster at the catch point" and that he's "75/25 on contested catches." We could use another middle of the field receiver if Cowing or another draft pick becomes the speed threat this offense needs. Wouldn't mind him in the 3rd.

i was real impressed by this guy at the Senior bowl game and practices. He looks like a 49er pick. i just am afraid he's day 2 now and we have other needs. If he was there in the 4th, then it would have been possible.

One of Shanahans expectations for WR is blocking.

According to NFLDraftBuzz, Bech has one of the highest WR blocking grades at 81%.

AAs a comparison, average NDB WR blocking rating appears to be in the mid 50-60 % blocking grade.
