Oh man the uproar here if Lynch took the good pass rusher with a massive character concern

Once again the experts in the 49ers front office would have been better going with a webzone favorite the first 2 days of the draft. Getting awfully tired of this s**t - taking project "scheme fits" in round 1 that don't pan out over proven productive players.
Pearce finished his rookie year with 10.5 sacks. The most in a rookie season since Micah Parsons. We absolutely need exactly this right now.
It's so dumb. Lynch and Shany are just awful. I'm so tired of them. I don't think you can win with them. Just terrible in the draft.
Hello guys. Care to comment?

They would only be here if it was a 49ers player.

I don't understand the psyche behind some of these fans. I mean kudos to 49oz for originally proposing Pearce to everyone. But why so much hate and criticism of the 49ers FO after the fact? And San Diego - the dude was against Pearce initially if you look at his comments yet he does the same thing - wants to s**t on the 49ers FO for 'supposedly' making a mistake. I mean - I probably have the greatest hypothetical draft pick of all time recorded but I never once went around saying dumbass Shannylynch should have listened to me, what an incompetent FO. Even that douche Grant Cohn did this with respect to Mahomes, 10 years later. Hindsight can be extremely unreliable. There are so many factors involved that determine if a player will succeed with an organization.Props to the 49ers FO for sticking to their guns and staying away from players with character concerns.
I wonder what Baldy is thinking now.

Those guys are the exception to the rule. For every randy moss, there are 50 Ruben fosters

Probably not 50, maybe 20 overall. If you're are 5th rounder with 5th round talent/skill set and you have character concerns you're not getting drafted anyway. For guys with first round talent, that ratio is much closer.

Gotta love how SD has just completely tucked tail and acts like Pearce doesn't even exist now. Par for the course

We'll never know if Lynch chose Williams over Pearce due to character, but I've seen Zion Young mocked at #27 and he has some red flags too. I'm guessing his draft stock takes a hit now.
