And he's like 20+lbs lighter than he was suppose to be

They lose weight to run the drills. Even if he didn't do much here. He can at his pro day. Probably will gain it back. 20 lbs. up or down for a big guy is like 10 lbs. up or down for a regular person. They do it all the time.

If we somehow trade down and/or go in a different position in Round 1, give me:
TJ Sanders
Ty Robinson
Caldwell

That's a solid foundation for our front loaded with talent and meat upfront. Get Swinson or Burch at Edge and we are cooking.

Your round projections are too high, several of those guys you mentioned will be available a round or two lower than your rds
There are not 21 DT's going in the first 5 rounds

It wasn't projections of the entire class. It was where I would target the guys

Why take them early? It's better to wait and get a bargain and pick up good players in rd 5 and 6 (like they did with DJ Jones, Kittle, Huf, etc)

Well, knowing this franchise tend to pick them higher anyway once they zero in on a player. For example, I like for Caldwell to get pick with our 4th rounder. But if we ended up using our 3rd round comp, why not. I'm sure there are players fall anyway based off a few draft gurus draft ratings that doesn't really match what teams draft board rankings.
Am I crazy or are we getting less athletic testing by prospects lately?

I don't think I saw many results from Oregon's pro day the other day and only seeing Grant's numbers from Michigan's pro day today. Is Mason Graham really just going to skip all the testing? Kind of sus…shouldn't go top 10 imo.

Agreed, he shouldn't go top 10.

he should go 11.

Woulda been cool to have for historical context, but not sure why his testing should matter. We've already seen how he stacks up athletically next to and across from other NFL caliber athletes, so this isn't a question of "is he only out-athleting future plumbers?" And he's already shown to have an immensely high floor, so it's not a question of "does his athletic ability project a ceiling worth ignoring his floor?"
My way too early thoughts but I'm liking Walter Nolen at 11. He's such a good player, such a power player. If he's there at 11 I think SF would be crazy to pass him up. He's a game wrecker like Jalen Carter.

Who cares about testing?

Watch the tape and determine if they can play or not. Too many guys are drafted because they can run fast or throw 80 yards and they all turn out to be giant busts

You have to get value for each pick. Got to pick "BPA"
Otherwise you do boneheaded moves like drafting Cameron Latu in rd 3 and cutting him one year later. That was a Kyle special
Anyone else hoping we double dip at IDL? I hope Graham falls and then Lynch trades back into the 1st for Grant or Harmon if either player falls to the back of the 1st round/early 2nd
