Go sign Conklin, wanted him during the draft. Go get Dwelley back. Tommy Tremble was a guy folks liked here.

draft a guy on day 2/3. We don't need another play maker at pick 11 who's not gonna be running routes full time here.

would love tremble. I dont want a TE early, just saying Loveland may fall.

No doubt. I want to be on record that drafting Warren isn't the worst possible outcome and I get why folks like him.

I would prefer to go in a different direction

Brah!
"i want to go on record, that warren can't block, run routes, is a gadget and a liability the more he's on the field and would take dwelly over him.. but I never said he sucks"

Dang, the more I show this guy, the more he is turning into a favorite

We have offensive and defensive line needs and huge holes. We don't need a TE. We have the best TE in the league. The Eagles and Lions build the TRENCHES. That's why they are good. Why the Eagles can beat the Chiefs too and we can't.

So what

Don't need to burn a 1st on them just because

Spending a 1st in a TE this year is about as STUPID as spending a 1st on a WR last year. For this team. But it would not surprise me at all. Given their track record.

When healthy it's one of the very best rosters in the nfl. I hope they keep doing EXACTLY what they've been doing.
It really isn't they have holes everywhere.
no they don't, they had injuries everywhere

We were a few drops and few missed FGs away from winning the division in a disastrous season.

Everyone healthy is a repeat of the 2023 regular season
They absolutely do and the fact that they remained in the hunt for the division as long as they did speaks to the quality of the division more than anything else.

This team was never going to be on par with '23 healthy or not.
so the same SB team from 23 has too many holes?

now that is some major b******t lol
The fact that you cant see that is hilarious.

So I guess they should just run it back with last years team and everything will be fine?

You should be intimately familiar with bad takes.

Of course not what a ridiculous question, but there will be plenty of new faces to fill the multiple holes that exist on this roster.
i'm happy to see people acknowledge he's a good player that the 49ers could fall for and pick. It's fine to also want to go in another direction. i really like him but lean that way also.
I wanted to see more from him at the combine first.. i just saw where he's skipping the on field portion. That's disappointing. I'll be watching some of the other TE's closely to see who would be a good pick later in the draft then.

Call me crazy but I'm not a fan of this. It's one thing if you're dealing with something but all the talk of this guy being a pure football player and BPA that high up, I want to see him go out there and prove he's the best.

Exactly my thoughts. He's not dealing with an injury. i like him but i want to see the speed, quickness, change of direction, fluidity, blocking, etc
if he crushed the combine, then i might be campaigning to pick him. I'd have to think he isn't getting what he wants from his 40, 3 cone, and short shuttle and is training still to try to improve them. People are saying top ten now and he must think he'd drop if he works out here against others. His pro day can be set up to feature his strengths more. it leaves me skeptical of using a high pick on him.

i am familiar with bad takes, there's your and a lot of others i call out every time

saying say some sorry take like "plenty of new faces" doesn't help you either. We always have plenty of new faces every year lol

i know you won't even try to add any evidence to actually talk on the subject, so i will continue to call out your BS

Your familiar with bad takes alright because that's all you ever have you don't even know what a choice is lmao.

They'll be plenty of new faces because there's holes in the roster it's as simple as that how can you not see that?

As far as evidence goes where would you like me to start with the fact the Dline needs to be completely rebuilt, how about the glaring holes on the Oline or maybe with the secondary all these issues existed last season.

To attribute all of last seasons issues to injuries is ignoring reality.

This makes it less likely we pick him at #11 - which I am fine with due to positional importance.

No, film comes first. You don't want someone with iffy tape that nails the combine.
The combine and other things like the senior bowl add supplemental data to help make a decision. Warren had good tape.. People on here have pointed out various possible weaknesses.
It would have been good to see more in different situations to know whether he's worth a high pick. I guess they still have the pro day and maybe a visit to help

you just said film comes first, what more do you need? He played every position on offense and he was great at it

Film is first but having the combine data does help make comparisons to players in the past. Some testing results tend to also correlate to good players. Where teams make mistakes is overlooking bad tape cuz the combine results are so good.
