Looks like Justin Smith on that rep.

👀

Another solid rep showing the power, Membou owned him most the of the day though

I don't know if he's got terrible balance or plays so hard that he's out of control, but nobody is on their ass more than Shemar Stewart.

He would be such a huge reach at #11. I dont care how good his combine numbers were. His stats simply don't justify taking him that early.

There are so many ways the Niners can go with the 11th pick. I'm actually looking forward to Friday and Saturday more since they have so many picks and the talent isn't that different from the first round for many of the players that will be available.

Exactly! We literally could draft any position and still be able to get very high quality trench players thereafter.

I'm nervously excited for Friday. I just have a feeling they're going to draft the one position I'm really hoping they don't at 11. That being DE. I just don't like any of them projected to go around that spot.

You mean Thursday. That's round one. Friday they get 3 picks (one in round 2 and 2 in round 3) Saturday they'll have 7 if they don't make some trades. They usually do some trading with the late roind picks so they may end up with a total of 10 or even 9 picks.

I watch the SEC and really can't remember a lot of talk about him. I will be really disappointed if this is the 11 pick.

I don't want him as the pick either, I'm just telling ya it's very much a SF pick.

Yeah I can see that, Enamored with the workout and not the results from the play on the field.
Stewart is growing on me. The measureables are elite. The motor is high end. He is a beast again the run. One of the best at setting the edge in the draft. He can control gaps when rushing the passer. His arsenal is not developed but he routinely wins. He's disruptive. He's generating pressures. He's making the QB move off his point. He would help Bosa feast. He has 3 down potential.

Now I'm not advocating for him at 11. Value wise, I like mocking Jordan Burch later in that role. And there's a strong case to take more of a designated pass rush type and let Gross Matos start. But I wouldn't cry about Stewart. Especially if we could move back a bit.

Fair take and agreed.

It's a good take, but I don't even see consistent pressure and don't see how he can win at the next level without a lot of development. Could he get there? Absolutely, you can see the potential. I just couldn't take that risk at #11.

If someone told me he was from outside the US, and had only been playing ball for 3 years, I'd be much more intrigued, but dude, you're a beast you should be beating guys on the regular.

The last time someone had 9er gear on before the draft was Patrick Willis. Stewart was seen with a 49ers backpack.
They are going to pick Shemar Stewart

Also.... Membou will be available and on the board just to piss fans off even more. Cant wait!
