Would not be surprised if they trade up for an OT.

Comping Jalon Walker to Kyle Van Noy is interesting because I agree that's how Walker should be used . KVN was a guy that was considered a bust until Belichick got his hands on him and showed the league how to use him. I think Walker needs to end up in a similar situation with that with that type of defensive mind.

Interesting, why did you row back your opinion of the Flores type D?
Saleh has always had specific roles in his D, and they're changing. Used to have a big end and an Elephant, abandoned it to go with a wide 9.
He's fiddled with his 3rd LB role, basically had 2 Mike's with a SAM.
Been traditional with WILL, Mike and Sam.
He doesn't really bring exotic blitzes, but he's embraced the A gap stuff, for me there's enough for Walker to do in his base D, and then give him to Kocurek for the passing down work.

He didn't row back his opinion with the Flores take.
I agree with both phx and hero on where has the best chance to thrive schematically, I don't think it's here. We will see!

How would you feel about this LB tandem in San Francisco? ????

LB Chris "Pooh" Paul Jr. got to meet Fred Warner during his visit.

Hella short arms kind of scare me. I think it will affect his ability to wrap up and shed blocks.
Had the lowest missed tackle rate among all the LBers in this draft at 4.5%. He's actually a really good tackler

I think that's a cop out, our scheme is not set in stone. Saleh has adapted over the years, whilst I don't expect a blitz happy scheme, there's still enough to work with here.

Bottom of the barrel blitz team for years. Not a cop out. Just the truth of it.

Does anyone remember that YouTube channel last year that had Puni, Green and Pearsall as the top 5 sleepers in the draft? Interested to see what they said this year.

If he is there at #43 it may be an autopilot for Shanahan.
I would approve.
