2025 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

Not sure if posted

I really liked Walker from the Shrine game. He was always getting pressure.

Conyers I like too as a day 3 TE. we can't afford to take one high with other needs but another TE is still a need.
He did well at the Shrine practices.
He did well at the combine. He has decent speed, great 3 cone quickness, good route runner, and caught everything. He has the size to block. He seemed like someone we would be interested in and we are.
Man, I like really like a lot of the names I see being linked to the Niners for interviews/visits.

Same. And I still won't fall for it because I still expect them to take the players we/I wouldn't lol.
Weather these trade rumors are real or just bs, if we were to trade up would you rather go best DT or Edge?

How did I know someone was going to bite on that first word.

Weather its a smokescreen or not I'd go DT.

"f**king moron"

Hook, Line, and Sinker.

I don't see a trade up in the first happening unless Carter or Graham gets within striking distance. What i do believe is happening is every NFL team is contacting each other to gauge their interest and that is getting reported as the team wanting to trade up when in reality all the teams are doing this.
Dane Brugler's 7 rounder for us

1 (11). Edge Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
2 (43). LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA
3 (75). OT Anthony Belton, NC State
3 (100). DT Omarr Norman-Lott, Tennessee
4 (113). RB Damien Martinez, Miami
4 (138). CB Bilhal Kone, Western Michigan
5 (147). WR Tez Johnson, Oregon
5 (160). G/C Jackson Slater, Sacramento State
7 (227). TE Jackson Hawes, Georgia Tech
7 (249). QB Max Brosmer, Minnesota
7 (252). DT Elijah Simmons, Tennessee

REALLY solid all around IMO. My personal gripe is more in the 3rd-4th round range but I really can't hate on any of the picks because they make total sense.

LOVE the Schwesinger, Jackson Slater, Jackson Hawes picks. Even the Tez Johnson pick could be an absolute steal if somehow the kid doesn't get crushed in the NFL, no questioning the fact that he gets open.

Would love it even more if Norman-Lott didn't have injury concerns. We really can't walk into this draft and walk out of it with a banged up DT and a 7th round NT who likely offers nothing but run D snaps on early downs. I think if there was one thing I'd change about his draft is i'd double dip on DT after the ONL pick and grab either CJ West or Aeneas Peebles who he had going several picks after he had us taking Damien Martinez(who I like as a prospect but too early for RB imo)

I wouldn't hate it and like you there's players I really like he has us taking. But if he had us taking OLine and DLine instead of Martinez, Kone and Johnson it would be damn near perfect.

Man, I don't know. In that scenerio we are left with Kevin Givens and Jordan Elliot starting at DT

DE- Shemar Stewart / Yetur Gross Matos
NT- Jordan Elliot / Evan Anderson / Elijah Simmons
DT- Kevin Givens / Omar Norman Lott / Khalia Davis
DE- Nick Bosa / Sam Okuayinonu

It would be highly disappointing if we come out of this draft with Norman Lott and Simmons as the only DT's.

And Shemar is so boom or bust. He worries me. Although I can understand why he would be the pick.

Love the Schweshinger pick. Belton could be a nice LG and slide to LT eventually. I don't love the Martinez and Kone picks in the 4th but they fill needs. Jackson Slater and Hawes could be a steals in the 5th.

Tez Johnson is kindof redundant with Cowing on the team.
Another top 30 visit

Man overall I think it's actually realistic and I would be underwhelmed.

SS is what he is…pure boom or bust and I just don't see SF going that direction this yr. They need good solid players with high floors. Guys that can play day 1 and contribute. Stewart is kinda the opposite of that.

best pick is a LBer I love Schwesinger but overall coming away with a LBer as your best pick is meh…especially in this draft.

not a massive Belton fan, seems more like a "hey they need to draft a OL, who's available at pick 75"…then a thought out process. I wouldn't be ridiculously upset with the pick, I think based on who he already took and what they need, there's better options than a developmental OT who I feel like his ceiling is Cam Robinson.

i know nothing about Kone. No opinion there.

I'm bigger than Tez Johnson lol. He isn't tank dell imo. No clue what is role would be here. Hate that pick.
