2025 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

I disagree, there are only 2, maybe 3 blue chip prospects, and 1 maybe 2 QB's at a stretch. Whilst they are on the board, there won't be a discount.

agree to disagree. It's not gonna happen either way so we're debating about nothing lol.

Not seeing a path or player for a trade up in the first. They have 11 picks this year and already have 11 in the books for next season. I can see a trade or two up this year in later rounds and after the draft dust settles a trade or two similar to last year's Malik Collins trade. These next two drafts with 22 potential picks is going to be huge for resetting this team.

Heard he is not the biggest guy, but an absolute savage on the field
Welp thankfully we can cross him off the big board

HA
Would someone who's paid way more in depth attention to the draft and the prospects correct me - it seems like this draft is deep in DL, CB, and somewhat deep in TE. Is that right? Any other positions I'm missing?

the qb class seems awful imo. Ward seems okay, at best, in my eyes. I don't like sanders as a prospect (reminds me a lot of Zach Wilson). I think Sanders has this very strange way of being conservative but also selfish with the stats - it's more about him than winning.

It's a good RB and pretty good for LBers imo

Great DL class, solid CB class, solid TE group, excellent RB group.

QB and WR are weak at the top but have some solid potential in the middle rounds.

I'd say weak OT class as well, certainly when compared to last year's class.

8 OT went in the first round last year. I'd be surprised if we saw 4 this year.
7 WR went in the first round last year. I'd be surprised if we saw 4 this year.

I really like that Stanford WR that reminds me of Jennings, I hope we can snag him.

When you say weak OT class - is that just at the top? Or through and through? Do you like the prospects of finding another Puni? I'm hoping in the 4-6th that we can find some gems on the o line.

Just feels like a lot of the OT prospects are more likely to move inside in the NFL. Puni is playing RG for a reason and there are definitely more guys like him than full on OTs.

Definitely some quality interior guys.

Deep class at IDL and RB good at S. Decent at EDGR TE and LBer. CB overall is meh.

lack of blue chip talent across the board though.

WR, OL, QB are balls.

ward reminds me of Jordan Love. Sanders I'm not seeing Wilson at all. He's more accurate and more of a pocket passer. Andy Daltonish. I think he can be a starter in the league, horrible offensive play calling and OL at Colorado.
