2025 Draft Prospect Watch List and Discussion

But he didn't trade 3 picks for Thomas. 4.114 went to Dal to move up to get Darius Alexander.

As for your comment about Alexander as a #2 and Jackson as a #3, I agree. But that's what happens when we take an OT at 1.11

He essentially did trade 3 picks for Thomas. He traded pick 75 to move up for Thomas then traded up to 76 for Alexander with our 2 4ths. We started with 75, 100, 114 and 138. You might as well say we kept 75(Alexander at 76) leaving us 100, 114 and 138. That essentially gets traded for Thomas.

I did a round of mock draft reading earlier today. This has to be the most unknown draft in a long time for round 1. The drastic variations are wild. Some guys going 5 and 6 go 26 in others etc.

Simms is a dips**t lol. Williams is probably a top 75 pick

I think because this draft kinda stinks overall. I mean you can get some good starters…but overall this isn't a star studded class imo.

Kinda sucks this is the draft where SF has a high pick and a ton of draft capital

Weak class. Not alot of blue chip guys.

Yesssss we are meeting with Kyle Williams!

Any draft with him in it good by me. Pick #75 reserved for him.

Not a fan of the new format but damn do I respect the grind Brugler puts in.

Most surprising thing to me is how many edge rushers he has in his top 10 on his Top 100 board.

Carter(2)
Walker(5)
Stewart(9)
Green(10)

Yeah it keeps crashing and kinda hard to navigate.

also Harmon is his 16th overall player.

I'm actually digging the new layout, I had such a hard time reading his player reports before on my iPad . I also prob need glasses

edit: may have some too soon. Still love the interface, but not liking the inability to go directly back to the main page once I'm done reading a profile.

Positionally speaking, my best mock simulator drafts so far are us trading down to mid 20s and drafting Donovan Ezeraiku at EDGE and a CB at 43 (Trey Amos / Azareyah Thomas) and TreVeyon Henderson RB or TJ Sanders DT with the other 2nd rounder form the trade down along with a 3rd and a 4th and trade back somewhere to grab a pick in the 180-200 area

Something like

25. Ezeraiku EDGE
43. Trey Amos CB
54. TreVeyon Henderson RB / TJ Sanders DT
75. Kyle Williams WR
86. Demetrius Knight LB
100. Josh Farmer DT
113. CJ West DT
116. Jacob Parrish / Quincy Riley / Cobee Bryant CB
138. Charles Grant / Chase Lundt T
147. Luke Kandra G
160. Brashard Smith RB/WR/KR
161. Jake Majors C (trade up)
227. Craig Woodson S
249. LaJohntay Wester WR
252. Nazir Stackhouse NT / Jacory Croskey-Merrit RB (if TJ Sanders at 54)

Treyveyon is going in the 1st, I love Jake Majors, lost one rep badly to Kenneth Grant, but stoned him the rest of the day. Handled Nolen really well too.

I like Amos, wouldn't surprise me if he went end of 1st either, but could be there.

Haven't got to Brashard Smith yet, but have heard good things. Like it
Sanders and West would be a major win.

That's way too many rookies. Cut it in half and that's how many we will probably take.

He gave Charles Grant a Spencer Burford comp

Also see where NY got the JPP comp for Williams.
