What do you mean letting. He made the choice. The Niners couldn't prevent it. All free agents make the choice which is why it's often better to go undrafted than be drafted late. You can select the team where you may have the best chance of making the roster.

I like Cody Schrader better and with the 2 rookies we have I doubt Steele would have ever made the team.

Damn Braiden McGregor, DE from Michigan is signing with the Jets.

Real happy about Evan Anderson. I thought we'd sign him for another ng. I really want Crum too to have a tackle. Owens is a fun pickup to follow.

Yeah, I was chanting EAs name during our last pick, but I like the UDFA route better. Bethune has a much better chance to make the squad on special teams. Glad we were able to bring him into camp though. That Kalia Davis could use an upgrade.

Surprised Schrader didn't get drafted, looks really impressive.

No way he would have made the team. He's a bigger back but he's slow as molasses and would likely be limited to short distance and goalline situations. Guerendo gives you everything he does and more.

Need to bring this guy in just for the shenanigans that would abound.

"Willis Patrick is quite the player"

"Don't you mean Patrick Willis? And he's retired."

"No dumbass, I mean Willis Patrick!"

He would HAVE to get #25 too!!!

Evan Anderson, big nose tackle out of FAU signing with the 49ers.

Sweet!!!! That's the biggest DT the 49ers have had since Reggie McGrew I think.

Hope he doesn't play like Reggie McGrew.

Reggie McGrew was a big baby who got home sick.

yep Guerendo is the full package. Likely CMC's successor. He's big, he's fast, got good vision, can catch, and can pass protect. He a prototypical 3-down back. Wont see much time this next season outside of short yardage plays and if CMC's, god forbid, gets hurt. One of my favorite picks outside of Puni. CAnt believe we got him so late. I think Shanny finally drafted a RB who will actually contribute
Just realized Miles Battle went to KC. That's unfortunate.

Really wish we got Coker too. Everyone looking for "the next Puka" and he had as good a shot as anyone before going to CAR.
