Still some decent prospects available. James Williams would be interesting. A Safety turned Linebacker. Just what the Niners look for in Linebackers.

I feel like a lot of folks have a hard time separating a player they like vs a player that's right for our system. A lot of these o line guys might not be fits for our system.

I think everyone we've drafted has been a good fit, at least from where we stand today, for what we do and what we would like to do. We've added a quality guard who is very versatile and a good pass blocker. Then we added a huge running back who has hands and is extremely fast (especially for his size). Then we added super speedy, precise route running guys - sometbing our offense has sorely lacked.

Couple that with Latu hopefully developing on the other side of kittle - we will be able to run a ton of different sets (more than usual) and compete against any defense if we execute. We struggled against baltimore/KC cause we didn't have a reliable slot reciever to get open.

This regime has been excellent at finding LB prospects in the late rounds and UDFA. Hopefully they do it again.

I watched Malik Washington, and he reminded me so much of Bruce Ellington.

It was a meniscus injury that required surgery. He essentially red-shirted the year. He WAS solidly regarded hence his 3rd round selection out of Alabama.

Me? Bro show me how many people had Latu as a 3rd round prospect. The answer is NOT MANY. You're altering the truth and apparently you like to timeout people just for disagreeing with you. That's super cool.

It doesn't matter how many media talking heads like Kiper had Latu as a 3rd round prospect, that doesn't mean anything. They are all often wrong more than right.

I usually saw Latu go in the 4th and we got him with the next to last pick in the 3rd round.

Everyone knows we reached on Latu because after we took a kicker in the 3rd all the remaining TE talent disappeared. They freaked and grabbed someone anyone with a decent grade. Just like what happened yesterday with having to trade up to get Puni (glad they got him, don't get me wrong).

I also really would have preferred those two 5ths to a running back.

Pearsall - Puni great
mustapha - RB fine/meh
everything else - awful.

Bell is still there as far as TE's. The only one left that I would be interested in.

Cade Stover sure seemed like a good fit, good upside guy, could be wrong.

They drafted good players. Brought in like 4 dudes on that DL in FA and resigned the 5th best OG in football last yr.
