🏈 2024 NFL ENTRY DRAFT 🏈-Do not tip picks!

What in the hell are the 49ers doing? Just about everyone they've drafted has been a reach, and they just gave up two 5th round picks to move up 6 spots to draft an RB who will probably never get a carry. Their two current backup RB's hardly get any carries! And their past two 3rd round RB's were busts. Hopefully Pearsall will be a good "move the chains" type WR, and Puni will be a versatile OL, but outside of that, this draft seems like waste!

Mitchell (injured a LOT) and Mason are FA after this season and will cost more than a 4th round rookie to keep.

Guerendo reminds me a lot of Pacheco - speed and power. This is a solid pick that provides better, more reliable depth behind CMC

They also didn't give up 2 5th's to "move up". Those 2 5ths were traded FOR a 4th rd pick. HUGE difference. I'm actually surprised a team took that offer given the talent drop off and both 5's were supplemental.

I'm loving the Guerendo and Cowing picks. I bet both contribute as rookies.

They drafted more for 2025 than 2024 lol
Mustapha looks like potential bulk up and swap to MLB to me. His film does not look like a safety, but what the he'll do I know.

Christian Jones, DJ James, Kris Abrams- Draine, and Trotter Jr. All still sitting there.

You're waaaay off on this. I've been following the draft closely the past 10-15 years and this is the best draft the Niners have had that I can remember just in terms of need/fit/skill/potential. Obviously you never know how prospects will turn out but for all the things above it's been an A draft

I disagree. The Niners could have traded down and gotten most of the guys they picked later while acquiring more picks. Example: Malik Mustapha in the 4th round, described by NFL.com as "having a chance to be be an average backup." Green was considered a 3rd of 4th rounder on most boards. And why do you give up two 5th round picks to move up 6 picks in the 4th to draft an RB that will hardly ever play? There was still a very versatile O-Lineman and good pass catching TE on the board at that point.

Can't just read 1 or 2 scouting reports and come to a conclusion. All the decent OL are long gone, we just drafted 2 TE's last year, a position notorious for taking a while to learn/excel at. Very few rookies really are a difference maker at TE year 1 unless they are 1st rounders. We have one of the top 3 best rosters in the league for a reason.

I don't hate either one, I just don't understand how they didn't go Jared Wiley. TE2 is a complete void and had an extremely productive player that's also a strong blocker on the board. Chiefs meanwhile took him right after (and Hicks).

And guess what, the 9ers don't draft till the END of the 6th round. Don't count on any of those guys being there.
Everyone is trying to get picks for next yr, one because a lot of these guys now are nothing special and two the class next yr is much better overall

Honestly I want Jeremiah Trotter Jr., they gotta add more LB's.

Kinda surprised he's still there, I like Barrett out of Michigan late as well

Think they keep Conley so it's Gray, Bell, and Taylor on the way out

Conley will end up on the practice squad. I think they like Bell more.

No way, Conley was active for the Super Bowl, Bell wasn't.

Because Kyle wanted the experience.

John Lynch talked about receivers stepping up and mentioned Conley in a recent interview, he didn't mention Bell at all.

Conley made some PLAYS in the Super Bowl too! As a WR and on ST.

On paper it seems better to add at RB and WR/KR/PR plus speed than adding a TE 3 or 4.
Just take Brendan Rice and Frank Gore Jr. to round it out.

nah he already bulked up in his last collegiate season. His frame cant handle more bulking to MLB size. I think he will start the season if Hufanga isnt ready to go and when Huff is back, he will come in on sub packages. Potential 2025 replacement for Huff if he underperforms next season or we are unable to resign him.
