Win a Super Bowl and become MVP, I'll wait. I won't hold my breath though. And if he doesn't, I'll be here on page 25 of this thread saying "I told you so".
Only one game but that was some really bad QB play out on that field today.
He didn't look very great today. But it's his first game as a rookie. So that can happen. Give it some time.
he earned his first Garoppolo

Going to point here that not all rookie QB's start right away. In fact, it used to be the norm for QB's to redshirt a year. Here is a stroll down memory lane.

It is far too early to reach any conclusions on Williams. I don't even like the QB, everything I've heard about him is he was supremely arrogant coming out of college, but still it takes some time for us to reach a conclusion. I'd certainly rather have Williams than Trevor Lawrence.

yeah I watched Peyton in college and his rook season, I saw it. we can reach conclusions about Caleb's first few weeks. i wouldn't assume anything we say about the first 3 weeks is a future looking statement. it's just looking at his first 3 weeks. so i agree with you that players get better and worse all the time. we can't tell the future. that is why we tune in.
Bo Nix > Caleb .......AS of right now. Caleb has upside but who knows if he'll ever unleash it, ESPECIALLY after his upcoming multi million dollar contract.

Bears just can't develop QBs I mean I can't even think of a great QB that played for their franchise. That being said you can't pick where you want to go in the draft otherwise that's unfair to fans teams and will end up like the NBA.

Chicago is a major sports city of legends but have had a massive drought. If you turn that franchise around you'll be held as a god.

Thats just good sense. More players should be hesitant about going to places with trash coaching staffs that will sabotage their careers.

And sure enough....

Bears never had a QB pass for at least 4K yards. I can see both sides. Red flag dude has a one-track mind.
