Dorian Thompson Robinson aka "DTR" UCLA QB

9ers will draft a QB, DTR would fit in well on day 3...

a 5 year starter for the Bruins, played a lot of ball, I saw all but one of his games... made steady improvement every year and last year he was an absolute beast...

good mobility, strong arm, decent pocket awareness, intelligent, extremely competitive... Shanny could mold him possibly and find a gem

Me too but who do we cut / trade? He won't last on our PS.

dude played a lot of ball like BCB did, maybe thats their new analog for drafting qbs
The question is, is he safe on the practice squad?

or the other question....is Lance going to be on the team post-draft?

Sam Darnold isn´t safe either. They cut Nate Sudfeld last year and to be honest he was solid in the pre-season. They already showed that they were willing to eat some salary.
But honestly, all these meetings with DTR this offseason, I think it´s a big smokescreen.
Nobody knew last year they were searching a back up QB in the latter rounds.
I would be happy if they draft DTR, don´t get me wrong but I don´t know it feels too obvious at this point.
I could see them liking Clayton Tune or Jaren Hall.
Ultimately, I hope they choose a QB that can scramble.

I recall Kyle mentioning that Nate practised better than he played in games … meanwhile, Brock played
better in games than he practised. That is the reason he gave for keeping Purdy over Sudfeld.

Can't take this seriously. And it isn't to be dismissive of what you think, but they are going into camp with competition between Darnold and Lance. No team is going to give up enough to even consider moving off of Trey and as much as I like Brock, I am not moving off of Trey based on 8 games. Likewise, if Trey were MVP next year, I am not moving off of Brock unless some team pays a king's ransom.
