If he goes that early, someone falls. Deep class and how many TEs can possibly go within 3 rounds?

I don't like anyone else really. This was the dude that reminded me alot of Kittle. There are others who are probably better receiving TEs. To me he was the most complete TE.
I guess it's time to keep digging

Yea, I found him, saw that no one was talking about him, and latched on as a day 3 target. He doesn't have the size or hip fluidity to make him a day 2 prospect for me so I may have to look elsewhere now too. I feel confident in Kincaid, Meyer, Washington, La Porta, Musgrave, Schoonmaker all going before him, and so hopefully they don't all go in the first 3 rounds.
With giants trading for Waller, I wonder if Bellinger is available?

Think he is the best all around prospect who should be available when the Niners are drafting. Him or Paine Durham would be ideal between the 3rd - 5th round.

I think he's there in the 5th. We may have to move up into the 4th, but as deep as the TE class is, there just aren't going to be that many tight ends drafted within the first say, 110 picks.

You're right but I think tere is media list and gm lists. All signs point to the teams higher on Strange than these mock simulators and sites. Some experts now have him mocked in the 2nd round based on what they're hearing.

I like Brenton Strange, but I've also be thinking about these alternatives:
Josh Whyle - longer more traditional big TE frame, seems to have less hype
Elijah Higgins - plays WR but could convert to TE. Seems like he has a similar athletic profile to Strange.
Curious to hear thoughts on these guys as alternatives to the popular, apparently rising, Brenton Strange

If we go strictly for receiving TE I want Whyle. I really really like his receiving aspect. Just don't seem that good as a blocker.
I like Strange because he seems like he could step in and be a replacement for Kittle in the run game while offering IMO plus receiving skills even if it's not to the level of Whyle. I think Strange is one of the more complete TEs in this draft.
I prefer not to get just a receiving TE. I want a more complete one. It seems to me, that our running game suffers when Kittle misses time.

I definitely get strong Delanie Walker vibes from Strange. Which is a big part of the appeal for me.
But that's what made me think about Higgins, since Walker converted from WR after we drafted him.
Higgins would probably take more time to develop. But maybe he'd pick it up quickly. He is a Stanford kid after all..
