I remember this dude standing out last season when I watched Trey. He's really nice, and I'd love to have him. But I don't think drafting a WR early is the move for us. There will be major diminishing returns at this point with how talented our receiving group is. We also had a significant issue with getting the ball to our guys last season. Until Trey proves he can distribute the ball, we're just compounding that issue by adding more bodies.

That said, I ain't going to be mad if they draft him.

Draft Watson.
Keep Deebo as RB/WR.
Dare defenses to go single high or try to matchup.

It's a dream. Not a chance he'll be there at our pick. And I really do not see the team trading up for him.

Yeah I think he's gone by the time we pick. He checks all of the boxes as a WR.
He helped himself yes, but what have Olave, Wilson, Burks, London, Williams done to hurt them selves? There is still a very strong chance that Christian watson is there in the early to mid second round (Jimmy g trade range)

It would be cool if you were right. I mean, Metcalf fell pretty far. But then again, Watson is a much better route runner, so...
Our boy jimmy G is gonna land us the pick that gets him. Jimmy G always giving!

Idk how the league sees him and I didn't watch him in college but this is a fair take. At that size and speed, you'd expect Jerry Rice at MVSU or Jacquay Nunally at FAMU level production. For those who are more familiar, why didn't it happen?

NDSU runs their offense straight out of 1972. The run game dominates everything. They've never put up huge passing yards numbers. Their usual average is something like 240 yards rushing and 170 yards passing.

2013 is the last time that they averaged over 200 yards a game passing.

Well there it is.

Yeah, that comment was a bit of a head scratcher. I don't think he's a candidate to return punts, but he has a chance to return kicks at a high level.

He's got nothing on Pettis as a return man
I'm a Watson fan and he's by far more fluid/explosive, but Marquez Valdes-Scantling ran a 4.37 at the same size (if we're just looking at speed/size).

id be more than happy going after MVS for a couple million

I'd be good with either honestly.

My draft crush is down to Christian Watson or Tariq Wollen (CB). I have a thing for fast 6-4 players

That was a weird year for WR's. AJ Brown fell super far too.
