NDSU runs their offense straight out of 1972. The run game dominates everything. They've never put up huge passing yards numbers. Their usual average is something like 240 yards rushing and 170 yards passing.

2013 is the last time that they averaged over 200 yards a game passing.

Yeah, that comment was a bit of a head scratcher. I don't think he's a candidate to return punts, but he has a chance to return kicks at a high level.
