Agree. Vera-Tucker fills a need now and maybe later at tackle.

At 12? I wanna say Waddle. He can stretch the field and we can get oline help in the second.
Free 6 points on a punt return- every now and again- wouldnt bother me all that much either

We have excellent starting WRs, talented RBs, and an All Pro TE . What we dont have is a dependable OL that can be consistent pass protectors and give Jimmy G the time he needs to be successful. If Williams leaves we are screwed if we dont take an OT early. Slater makes way too much sense to pass on him if he is available. He either starts at LT if Williams leaves or at RG if Williams stays.

So much of it depends on free agency, obviously. But I have a feeling our secondary is going to take some big hits. So I'm going with Caleb Farley or Patrick Surtain II, whichever is there. Then look at center and edge rusher in rounds 2 and 3.

Missing options tbh. I'm not sure what I'd pick of what you gave.

I've changed my mind, I forgot my golden rule, unless it's someone you absolutely don't need, pick the best player available. For me that's Farley, so that's my pick of this list.

Agree. I think Slater will fall to #12 with supposedly all the QB's in this years crop going high in the first 10-ish picks. If he is there - I think not only is he the BPA at that spot when the 49ers pick, but also fills a huge need at OLine.

How can a quarterback not be on this list? Even if we keep JG, we've proven we need a better bench.
And I think we either don't keep Trent William's or Jimmy Garoppolo, and Jimmy's the one we want to upgrade, so why lose so many long term players over a short term solution.
Trade up for a quarterback, or if we won't/can't, just take Jones.

If you want that stay off this thread, the explanation was clear, none of the QB's are available, and no one wants to trade up to our pick.
People still posting about QB's and trading down, this is a realistic scenario, go with it, or go elsewhere.

I don't believe "the quarterbacks went too early"" includes Jones. Each to his own.

Surtain. I disagree that Farley as of now is the better DB.

Fair enough, I don't think so either, but the Panthers just might have fallen for him at the Senior bowl, and if they didn't should we really be drafting him 4 spots later?

I personally didn't read his or see his caveats.
