Jaycee Horn CB South Carolina

I am intrigued with the idea of Mukuamu covering Metcalf.

That's exactly what Horn is for. He's got good size and speed, but more importantly, he's got the attitude and mental makeup to take on a dude like Metcalf. You have to punch a dude like Metcalf right in the mouth from the jump and let him know he isn't going to bully anyone that day. All the grabby knocks on Horn are a plus in my eyes when he's going up against a like Metcalf because it's easier to hide contact on a body that big.

Would absolutely LOVE watching Horn vs Metcalf go at it twice a season. Would be an epic battle like the good ol' Steven Jackson vs Patrick Willis days. Although Willis won all those matchups

I'd line up Lockett with Horn if I'm Seattle.

That'd be fun, too. A challenge for Horn, although he played well vs Elijah Moore. Also sure Demeco would give him some safety help vs Lockette early on.

If they're drafting Horn, that's a sign to me that DeMeco wants to play more matchup coverages than in the past. Ain't nowhere to hide, DK.

And that seems to be the plan, at least at times we will see more man / blitzes. It's not gonna be Cover 3 99% of the time.

DK. That's JVs b***h. His speed and strength were not prepared for Jason's footwork
Simms didn't have him in his top 5 CBs (actually not in top 6)

FWIW he said Farley is better than Ramsey and one of the best CBs he's ever evaluated.

What a f**king clown. He evaluated Ramsey at corner when he mostly played the STAR position? Best CB college tape I've ever seen was Jason Verrett. I had Farley as CB1 but wasn't as hyped for him as I was for Verrett or Alexander cause of the sample size. Like if Wade sat out this year he would still be a top CB prospect.

9moon around to say that Jaycee is actually a safety?

IM HERE... I still think he'll be a FS .... Just like LOTT was in his early days, his athleticism allowed him to play the CB position but ended up being a FS..

Have I missed some game film somewhere? Can Horn tackle a Mack truck, while hitting it SO HARD he makes the truck apologize for being in the way???

Because THAT is why Lott became a safety!

You mean when having an intimidator in the middle of the field was an actual thing.

Have love/hate issues with Rousseau. Love the athleticism and that he has telephone poles for arms and is so young and new to the position that he is a blank skate in need of top tier coaching. Hate that he's so limited as a rusher and was most successful rushing go the inside.

If he pans out his ceiling is what people were expecting Clowney to be in the NFL. If he doesn't then his floor is something like Solomon Thomas.
