Pro days don't mean squat. It won't change anyone's mind.

Actual game film and personal interviews, getting to know the players character and habits, and qualities to name a few is important.

In any other year I would agree. Covid doesn't allow private workouts in house and personal interviews over zoom is not the same as seeing and talking to someone in person. Not saying it will mean anything, but it would keep the dream alive for me. Why even go through the motions of another pro day if Mac is the pick already? For me personally, if another one doesn't happen that would further prove that Mac is the pick

Who cares? They already know they're taking Mac.

This bum of a front office is so stupid.

Nah not the front office. Mac Jones would 100% be because of Shanahan. But yeah it is also on the Front Office for not changing his mind

Man if you go to the last tweet Lynch had and read the comments 👀

The fan base is gonna riot if the pick isn't Lance/fields. I know they don't evaluate off fans (I mean shouldn't) but this is gonna be bad...like he's gonna be booed out of Levi. They're gonna go hate mail like nothing they've ever seen.

also the moment he sucks the fan base is gonna go ballistic more than if fields/Lance had been the pick.

They're all gonna get fired end of the day...they need to grow a set and tell him his wrong.

For all we know John and Adam have and they live with the truth. Kyle doesn't strike me as so egotistical to me so I feel like he values his staffs opinions. The truth will come out over time.

Unfortunately, that power structure was the only way Kyle was going to accept taking over this team. The FO ultimately serves him.

Laser accuracy. It would be insane to pass on him.

Hospital ball......Kittle would hit his head on the goal post with that perfect of a pass in stride

Uh, how? NFL safties aren't two times faster than college guys.

You missed my joke. I'm saying it's a hospital ball only cause Kittle would score a TD and hit his head on a goalpost

Funny enough, there is a hospital ball in that game. This was one of the worst throws I saw from Fields' on tape. Not sure what he saw here because it was obvious pre snap that Bama was in a MOFC defense. It looks like Fields predetermined his throw and got his guy lit up.

Better ball placement could have saved him. He should have led him more inside.

Sark.

But in all seriousness, none of those guys reached Jones' record setting production. Not even Tua. So there's an argument to be made that he's better than them.

Tua: 43 TDs in 2018. 11.2 YPA

Mac: 41 TDs in 2020. 11.2 YPA.

There are a lot of other stats.

PFF? I thought everyone hated them and all they did was fake stats?

It's which stats and how you use them. Specifically, when you claim they say something that they don't inherently say, and ignore other factors. Most importantly, when you ignore TAPE, which is the single most reliable indicator of anything.

Yeah, QB's that rely on running to extend plays usually do worse in the Red Zone because precision/timing is more important with how tight the field is.

How has Lamar Jackson been in the Redzone?

The bold answers your question??

Lamar Jackson Redzone stats
55 TDs (43 pass and 12 runs)
0 INT

What does Jackson have to do with Fields? Or Jones or Lance or any of them? Jackson is Jackson.

I read a rumor once that one of their scouts got fired for making a fuss about Mahomes. And of course, he got the last laugh.

(maybe he quit; can't recall)

Can't remember where, but I would not surprised if this is true.

Based on the presnap look Fields never should have even LOOKED at the TE on this play.

Here is a breakdown on the coverage with multiple angles

Wouldn't be surprised if Peters prefers move on to another organization that allows him to call his shots as a GM, instead of potentially being promoted here to GM and still be told by Kyle what to do.
