Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Friday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time

Adam Schefter:
One personnel director calls this "the deepest second round in the last 25 years." He believes there are 20 players available tonight that could have been first-round picks; there usually are 7-10. "There will be as many starters in this round that there are in the first round."
- DO EVERYTHING to solve at least one of IOL OR CB.

I expect a signing or two out of the XFL. That was where they found Brunskill. Sometimes guys get lost like that.
I hope for a surprise but don't expect it.

I don't expect much. We have so little space under the cap that we don't have the ability to do much. If we had 10 draft picks or even 7 we likely wouldn't have been able to fit them all under the cap. Best move would be to trade a couple of our picks and a player to move up into the second or 3rd round. More likely the 3rd. If we did that we could still get a player that might help us at CB or on the OL. Otherwise we just roll the dice on Saturday and hope a 7 comes up.

Yeah, I forgot about our cap situation - we don't have much to draft 8 or 10 players.

Possible 3rd round picks ?
Breida and a 5th to the eagles for a 3rd ? Or Coleman ?
Mullens and a 5th for a 3rd ?
Day 3
Goodwin for a 6th

"Once it hits your lips, it's so good!"
Very curious if the Niners make an attempt to jump into the 2nd or 3rd today for a guy they really like that's dropped a lot further than they ever thought.

Don`t blame other posters, we are just posting our opinions.
I don`t think that ShanaLynch will stay at home and are in a "we come back saturday" mode.
If there are opportunities that present themselves, they will of cause react.
And some posters try to list those opportnuities. Nobody in here knows what kind of probability they got in our FOs minds.
Noone would have expected us to move up from 31. Lynch painted a total different picture in the last days, so why are you as content he wont do different than what he told the media yesterday after round one?
I'm not blaming the posters lol. I simply don't agree, not any different than anything else we talk about in here.
I think Kyle will stay at home because everyone is at home currently![]()
I'm simply being realistic. We don't have players that will require a team to give up a top 64 pick for. I don't see the point in pretending like we do.
We can't magically pull 2nd/3rd rd picks out of our butts. They had two players that they clearly had much higher grades on than some people thought and got them. Good/bad who knows.
So yeah end of the day I'll be shocked if SF makes a draft selection tonight.
Well, they do have the players to get that high of a pick but not any they are willing to. Just being a smart *ss, I know what you mean, and I agree with your assessment

You guys that think were getting a 3rd or 4th for brieda or Goodwin or Bethard are nuts.. those guys will get us 6th rounders back.. maybe MAYBE Goodwin will get a late 5th if he restrictes his contact

If we think we will be a playoff team next year and there is a guy we are really high on available in the 2nd then why not consider trading a 2021 first for a 2nd rounder this year. Or a 2021 2nd for a 3rd.
If this draft is as deep as people believe (I'm specifically thinking S or CB here) then why not pull the trigger?

I do believe either of Breida or Coleman with a 4th next yr can get a 3rd, or maybe even Mullens with a 4th next year can get a late 3rd. I'd at a 5th this year too to make it happen. So a 4th next yr, a 5th this yr and any one of the players mention you don't think gets a late 3rd ?
