wow! Haven't paid any attention to OTs this year. Where was he slotted before this blow up? Have to think this makes him a high 2nd if not 1st no?

Oh he's going in the 1st, even before this. The athleticism of this class is pretty crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if we find Staleys replacement

Top 15 prior

One of the scouts said WR and T were the two best/deepest classes. IOL seems to be creeping up there too. Maybe the OL class isn't that bad.

One scout has 41 OL in the top 135 picks. WR, 24 in the top 150.

Obviously I'd be elated adding top capital to the OL but we must remember, this is Kyle. His M.O. is to spend highly at T and C and "make due" with the G position. Even after costing us a Superbowl, I doubt his philosophy has changed. He probably won't look for the next McGlinchey until he knows for sure when Staley will retire. But when he does, it'll definitely be a first round pick. He was hoping Staley, McGlinchey and Richburg would be cornerstones for 5+ years.

True.

People gotta realize where we're drafting and who might be there.

Imo there isn't a 1st rd grade on a single IOL (which I agree RG needs to be upgraded).

I just want them to take a good player end of the day.

Any word on Netane Muti's medicals?? That dude is a monster when healthy. Will Hernandez 2.0
What's Ruiz's draft projection? That guy looks like he'd be a huge addition along the interior. 0 sacks allowed on 457 pass blocking snaps!

Definitely. If the top 1 or 2 OL don't fall to us, it looks like a truck load will be available (T/G's & C/G's) in the 2nd-3rd rounds.

Man it would be ideal to trade back...regardless.

We haven't even started seeing the DBs
I am drooling over the OL prospects in this draft
DBs are almost as deep and as good
There is going to be a run of CBs in the first round
However the OL runs rich, deep and long

The top of the OT prospects is great. None of those dudes are making it to us. Maybe Jackson but I'm not sure you can play him at guard
