We wish. Per the conversation above, this is why teams have been paying T-like money to IOL in FA over the past 5 years. He's going to command top $ on the FA market...double digit easily.

s**tty market for IOL this yr as well. What was he a 3rd rd pick?

While I like him it's hard for me to invest a ton in former NE guys.

Totally agree. I would not be mad because I'm confident Benton would keep the train rolling but let's be real, he's going to cost a ton. Teams are desperate for OL and there's not a ton of great ones in this draft.

Holy f**k lol. It's crazy what IOL make nowadays.

Might want to start drafting your own, Mr. Shanny.

If the niners do take an OL, I think it won't be until late in the draft unless a no brainer like Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wirfs, Mecki Becton happen to fall, I'm ok with the 5 starters, resigning Garland, and have Brunskill and Skule as back ups, next year will be early on in the draft OL and CB, this year S and WR early on.

I want our interior to be a mothaf----n brick wall! Give me a guy like Lewis or Ruiz to stonewall interior rushers, and let Jimmy have a field day.

Can you imagine how explosive this offense could be with added weapons at WR, TE2 (no disrespect to Dwelley, he is good in the red zone, just still needs work), and then an interior that actually gives Jimmy the time the find open guys and *gasp* a chance to even take deep shots sometimes?

Lewis is a juggernaut in the run game. Towards the end of the season he improved a ton in PP. not sure how his feet are with zone blocking. PFF actually gave him a good grade there

Who do you like in the draft?

RG should be upgraded. There should be some competition added there...possibly the competition is Brunskill, but IMO he's a OT more than a OG.

His price just went up even more.

Gosh there's a ton of IOL guys, just no real studs. Depends what you mean by late rds?

1st rd: zero prospects I like

2nd rd:

-Ruiz (my favorite G/C)
-Jackson (OSU guy killed it at SB)
-Hunt (OT to OG and is seriously nasty great grades in zone blocking and PP.)

Guys I got as 3rd/4th rd guys are

-Lewis (Another nasty OG really stepped it up in 2019 especially towards the end of the yr like the value)
-Harris (Zone blocking stud scheme specific)
-Hennessy (OZ guy great in passing-pro, scheme specific as well)
-Muti (medicals are huge would have been one of the best IOL if ever healthy)
-Cushenberry (I'm not as high as others with him, he probably goes higher).

5th to end of the draft

-Anchrum (Clemson tackle who's gonna play OG)
-bredeson ((good SB)
-Stenberg (nasty almost too nasty ton of penalties)
-Biadasz (dude was avg this yr and can't stay healthy)

There's some other guys, but I really have researched all of them.

Still early, but I'm tempted to give Hennessy a 2nd round grade. I think he may still go in the third because he's a better fit in ZBS, but he has surprising power nonetheless and could be looked at as scheme versatile by some teams. Might be my favorite in this class.

2nd/3rd
Hennessy
Ruiz
Jackson
Hunt
Jackson
Lemieux

4th
Muti
Runyan
Hanson
Bartch

5th/6th/7th
Throckmorton
Hilbers
Harris
Daryll Williams
Adeniji

I'm always way late to this party. I'll have to get back to you on that one.

Big time. It was an unrealistic pipe dream anyhow.

Thanks, you really think Biadasz goes that late ?
