WR class 2020

So few picks.
I think there are better fits for the niners, Higgins maybe in a Norv Turner offense

1.66 10yd split 31 vert
Too high of a bust risk = don't pick

He's a trade down candidate IMO. Film is fine to me overall. I'm not gonna get super worked up over pro-day #s. I prefer Pittman if we want a bigger WR ( I like his value).

Higgins may wind up being Anquan Boldin for some team...but I'd rather we not take that chance. I like him well enough but even in a trade back I feel like there would be players who are better suited for what we need.

If we move back and Higgins, Reagor, Aiyuk are there Higgins would be the last guy in that group that I'm taking. And if those guys are gone that's an assumption that at least 8 other WRs have gone off the board(Lamb, Jeudy, Ruggs, Mims, Jefferson, Shenault, Reagor, Aiyuk)

Do I see that happening? I guess it depends how far back we trade down to but in that scenario I feel BPA would be another position and we can try to grab a WR with another pick.
I really think the hype behind this WR class is overblown. Yes, the class is rediculously deep, but that does not mean that it is chalk full of WR1 or 2 talent. If you want a stud, you'll still need to most likely draft a WR in the first two rounds. It's the rest of the WRs,the potential WR3 guys with WR2 upside that you would typically draft in the 3rd round...those are the guys that you can probably get in the 5th round this year. This is why I don't understand the "you HAVE to take advantage and draft a WR crowd.". Without a trade down resulting in multiple day two picks, I don't think a 5th round WR is likely to have much of an impact.

I 100% agree with everything you said.

He ran a 4.54 on his Pro Day
For his size and body type I will take it
May want to look at this article on PFN about Higgins
which indicates he tested like he plays

WELL HELLO THERE
Trading away one of your best DL to draft a wide receiver is a f**king moronic idea. They better use 13 wisely.

Belichick would never.

Shanahan probably fell in love with Ruggs.
