Harris is a great pick if he can stay healthy. Absolutely nasty player who fits this scheme to the T. I hope someone has developed enough to be a starting SAM so we don't have to put Malcolm there. Malcolm is not a SAM. We've gotta at least target a SAM in undrafted free agency.

I wanted secondary

There we go

I know many are not, but I'm pretty happy with this draft.

Everything depends on the health of this team, if this team and the new Training staff come through this year could be a big step forward.
It's never a good sign when NFL.com doesn't even have pictures for 3 of your 5 Day 3 selections.

I guess that's a wrap, boys.

The skill set to be an effective SAM in our defense can be acquired in a UDFA. We're talking about a 2-down player that essentially sets the edge and covers the flat. We don't need elite athleticism, just some basic size and football instincts.

Harris has rare size, speed and explosiveness traits that could make him a coveted priority free agent, but his injury history, modest ball production and inability to match play to the traits are likely to leave him undrafted. There are physical check marks in his favor, but he will need to play a much more instinctive brand of football to cover NFL receivers.

Character guys.

Winning with class
or
Losing with class.

But, what matters is class
The losers on this forum would rather we draft a rapist if it made our team better. I would contend that a guy with integrity like this makes our team better because it elevates the work ethic and character on our team.

Yes...there are two types of players...like Dre or rapist and I'm suggesting that we take the rapists. Good job, you should work for media. They'll pay you good money to do this kind of work.

The fact that you even responded to a story like the one posted about dre with anything other than "cool, good for him for looking out for her", let alone with some 2-cent analysis of whether or not class is important in building a winning organization is telling. You are delusional if you think that responding to that kind of story with that kind of post doesn't convey a bad message.

Hey Pig...calm down and get off your high horse. I did say good for him...AFTER I read the story...and before your "jump to conclusion" post.

Like I said, media job.

He's just using the 3 ring binder that Baalke left behind to play GM.

It's football. Everyone has an injury history. There are no 4 year starters who never missed a game, especially not after round 1/2.

Had we went Dax Raymond or Alize Mack instead of Kaden Smith id be happy. I get it Smith is a better blocker but....

Hopefully we can get Tyree Mayfield or Jerome Washington as UDFA then it'll make me happy.

Would also like Cody Conway OT, Syracuse as UDFA
