Regarding Jerry "Nice try to distract us from wanting to draft Quinnen

" Tillery, I'm surprised ND didn't keep him at OT. He measures out and moves like a tackle. Was he such a knucklehead as a frosh that Hiestand banned him from offense?

Underrated prospect. No way we draft him but he's gonna be a good player.

What the hell is random49er on about now? We are no longer making threads about players if they aren't #2 OA candidates? You can't want to try and upgrade DT, but not at the expense of Bosa?
You make two analogies that make no sense despite your use of "big words" that apparently /s/ idiots like NY can't understand.
1. You said we don't know how people will perform in the NFL. Same holds true for QW. We don't know for sure whether either player will ultimately end up being an upgrade.
Now of course, you can say take the gamble that puts the odds in your favor, and take the "gold" prospect. Well,
2. This isn't a vacuum. Gold is more valuable than sliver sure, but gold AND silver is more valuable than gold and bronze. If Bosa is also a gold prospect, but the edge players available at 36 are bronze prospects, then...

Notre Dame DT Jerry Tillery performed athletic testing at the NFL Scouting Combine with a torn labrum.
Tillery was diagnosed with a torn labrum in his shoulder a few days before the colllege football playoff game against Clemson. Tillery stuck it out through that and also wanted to perform testing at the NFL Scouting Combine prior to getting surgery. This risk paid off as Tillery produced an 84th percentile athletic SPARQ composite score. He ended up getting the scope done on March 6th which still gives him plenty of time to rehab and recover prior to NFL offseason activities. He's been receiving some Day 1 buzz as of late.

I don't think enough people are talking about what a HUGE get this was for San Diego. Now they have Bosa and Ingram on the outside with Tillery creating pressure and wreaking havoc up the middle. What a perfect fit for them.

The Chargers have been building really well lately. They also landed a great coach with Lynn.
