Giants trade ?

Browse 49ers books and videos
This is the ideal scenario. Get that six and seventeen, and then you've still got a one in six chance of landing either Bosa, Quinnen, Allen, White, Sweat, Oliver, Burns, Taylor, etc. Those are all outstanding options. Then be smart with 17 and shore up the offensive line.
We better rape Oak or Giants if we are giving up Bosa along with not trading Mack or OBJ with us earlier.

Definitely Metcalf at 6 and whoever that EDGE is at 17, be it Burns or Ferrell, both I will be fine with.
I wonder if the Giants won't take DK then try to trade for Rosen or draft Lock.

Fair question. Personally, if I were the Giants, I would trade up to get Haskins.

Lock is too far fetched for me and Rosen has issues. The kid grew up pretty privileged, he doesn't know what he wants as per numerous reports. As for his game, he isn't better than Haskins. Have you compared their stats? Haskins smokes Rosen hands down. 70% completion rate, 50 TDs and 8 INTS, is not even close. To add, Haskins is a high character guy too.
I think the Giants are hoping Haskins falls to them at 6. But if Murray goes to Arizona, NYG might panic and try to move up. Lynch can easily fleece them imo.

I don't see them panicking. Gettleman is stubborn to a fault. If they can't get a QB without giving up the farm then they may very well opt to wait for a stronger QB class next year.

Assuming Bosa is gone this is Move I wouldn't mind considering Edge, WR, S, G have to basically be taken care of through the draft..

2nd overall pick to the Giants for 6th, 17th, their 1st next year..

Now who are your picks at 6th and 17th ?

6th- DK Metcalf
17th- Brian Burns
36th- Nassir Adderley or Taylor Rapp

I think that realistically Burns would need to be taken at 6 to have a shot at him. Wide receivers tend to fall. But I doubt neither Burns nor Metcalf will be there at 17. Best bet to get both is to take Burns at 6 and trade our third and 17 to jump up to 12. That or trade down again from 6 to about 8 and use the additional compensation to move up to 11 or 12 to get Metcalf.

That'd be hilarious if niners were to pick DK Metcalf, which would go against all that Kyle Shannahan values in a receiver. Fans would be so shocked.

It's becoming more ovious to me that you have to take Bosa at 2 since he's one of the most pro ready pass rushers to come out in last several years. His family injury history scares me though.
IMHO he's not the best edge pass rusher. Burns is. Bosa's just the best all around edge player.
Pipe dream. There's no way they like Bosa that much to pass up the opportunity of getting those three 1st round picks for themselves. Am I right or am I right? That team has even more holes to fill them our team.

I don't know who is the best EDGE, but I think Bosa at 2 will be overdrafted. To me, Bosa is a high floor and low ceiling guy.

As most have stated, even though Q is the better player, EDGE is the position of need, the obvious choice is to trade down, spread the risk onto 2 players.

In my opinion, it would be very hard to turn down a trade offer if a team wants to move up bad enough. Giants is the only team that has the picks this year to move up, other potential trade partners such as the Broncos or the Dolphins, they will have to split their offer into 2 years, but since they draft lower down than the Giants, it would be a bigger haul of picks at the same time.
if the 49ers move back to #4, i rather have the raiders 2020 2nd round pick; therefore, they essentially got Dee Ford for free.

Why would you rather take their 2020 2nd round? They have been loading up big time this offseason, you have to assume they will do considerably better than last season, in other words their 2020 2nd round pick could be pretty crap. Whereas their 2019 2nd round pick is the 35th pick.

They do not have a 2020 second round pick, they sent it to Chicago as part of the Mack trade.

I agree that they are more likely to draft Haskins at 6. If not they squeeze another year out of Eli and wait for next year for Herbert or some other QB. This isn't a great class for QB's anyway. When you reach because of need you end up with Alex Smith, like we did. Haskins and Murray might not have made the top 5 in last years class.
