That'd be hilarious if niners were to pick DK Metcalf, which would go against all that Kyle Shannahan values in a receiver. Fans would be so shocked.
It's becoming more ovious to me that you have to take Bosa at 2 since he's one of the most pro ready pass rushers to come out in last several years. His family injury history scares me though.

Raiders or Giants (all their first rounders and 2nd round)...
With all those picks and our own picks...Snag edge rusher, Greedy Williams, Hakeem Butler, DBs, oline depth and one more LB.

If they want Haskins do 2 for 6, 17, and their 2nd.

I honestly think the Giants are trying to load up to move to #1 for Murray. But wanted OBJ out of the NFC. Now they have the ammunition to move up

Burnes or Sweat, and at 17 Devin Bush or Greedy Williams if they are there.

With the FA haul Lynch has acquired, I think chances of a trade down are considerably less now. I'd bet the Cards take Murray...who's the guy Kingsbury wants to run his Air Raid offense. Rosen's not the guy. They'll trade him. The #2 spot will be wide open...and Lynch will take Williams, not Bosa.

If I'm the Giants I try to flip a 2nd rounder for Rosen. See if AZ bites. Wishful thinking to think Gettleman will give up all those draft picks for to move up from 6 to 2. I'd want more than #17 in return. I'd want 2 1s (with one of them in 2020).

I like it. I like Bush a lot, but we could really use Greedy in our (very) questionable secondary.

2nd overall pick to the Giants for 6th, 17th, their 1st next year..
Now who are your picks at 6th and 17th ?
6th- DK Metcalf
17th- Brian Burns
36th- Nassir Adderley or Taylor Rapp
It is a creative way to go if we want Metcalf.
I feel like after what we have done in free agency, at the very least we need to give Jimmy G a legit weapon.
I like Metcalf, there are no two ways about it, I think he can be a match-up nightmare. I also concur there is risk involved, but the upside can be considerable.
At the same time, I have had some time to look at the film again and I am beginning to think Quinnen Williams is the best player in this draft over Nick Bosa. But, equally, I also believe pass rush from the edges is a bigger need than generating interior pressures as it stands since we have DeFo. So, say if either Bosa is gone or if we don't think Bosa is worth the 2 pick, the Metcalf move can be a very interesting alternative way to go and it will be a huge statement too. It is like announcing to the whole world the 9ers is not only in the business of beefing up our D which is what we have been doing, but you better believe Jimmy G will be taking our offense to the next level with a true No.1 WR talent as well as a much enhanced running game with McKinnon being back and the addition of a more physical back in Tevin Coleman.
I would totally applaud such a move because it would be an exceedingly bold, brave and creative route to take.
Do I think Lynch and Shanny will do it? Probably not. But, I think they have a huge dilemma in front of them between picking Q vs Bosa.
It is also worth saying as far as Lynch and Shanny go, sometimes you just need to think out of the box.

I think they'd rather trade for Rosen.
