I'm wondering if this is more of a function of available talent. It seems our D-line is like Seattle's from 2010-2012. Remember when Red Bryant was playing DE? In 2013 they added Cliff Avril + Michael Bennett and that was the end of that. I'm hoping we can make a similar move. Brandon Graham + Bosa/Polite/Burns from the right side and then Blair/Street + maybe Thomas from the left side.

You're probably right. I guess we'll find out for sure this offseason.

And I'm completely on board with your offseason edge plan. Graham, Impact rookie, Kentavius Street, and Ronald Blair should be a significantly improved edge group. Maybe a day 3 SPARQ edge with traits to develop for the practice squad.

Yeah, and Saleh likened Red to AA so he seems inline with that mold. It seems like he might be more influenced by the bigger lineup in Jacksonville over Seattle?

I guess we'll find out soon.

Jacksonville fell off a cliff fast though. Pete has sustained success even when experience heavy roster change. Have to give him credit for running a nice program and I'd entifying players who will fit. I'm more curious "what" he's doing right vs others etc.

Pete's got over 20 years running some version of that scheme. I suspect he knows his system as well as Andy Reid knows his offense.

As for Jacksonville, they had a lot of talent and I still think they do. I think their heart got snatched. They seem to be a team that can be easily thrown off their game. Pete has got far more control over his guys, even though they are known to snap at one another as well.

Dallas should easily win.
Joejuan Williams declared
Florida junior OT Jawaan Taylor declared for the 2019 Draft.

This isn't a surprise — Taylor (6'5/328) is one of the highest rated offensive lineman in this year's class. A three-year starter, Taylor played right tackle at Florida but has the measurables to move to the blindside. Taylor is a first-round lock and could go in the top-five picks.

This confirms previous reports on Williams. A two-year starter and three-year contributor, Williams (6'3/208) dramatically improved his stock this season — setting career highs across the board while ranking second in the SEC with four interceptions. An outside corner with college production, Williams should go in the top three rounds.

Yeah I like this kid a lot. His biggest problem? Turning his head back to look when ball is in the air
Phew, Giants & Bucs lose close ones so we should stay ahead of Jets on SOS.

Bless you, Nick Mullens.
Any chance in hell AZ trades with us? I was watching them and edge is a luxury. They need o-line and a dt. Honestly is QW destroys the bowl game he may be their guy.

Yes. Of course. Don't listen to people who say they won't trade within the division. Teams trade picks within the division literally every year.

All that matters is the price.

I believe they wouldn't have if the Raidersor Jets drafted at 2. Now they might do it.

I'm not trading anything of value with Arizona.

We are in a win win situation because I only see 2 elite players at the top of this draft. Haskins might change that, but that is also a win for us if he goes #1 or we trade down and secure multiple first and second round picks in the process.

If no trades occur, then whoever Zona doesn't take, we take. No need to trade up.
