I forgot to mention something else I saw from Polite, he was really good sniffing out screens, shows that he has a great feel for the game.

I'm so jealous that these media dudes get access to the college all-22 tape. The broadcast angle doesn't do pass rushers justice.

Love it...would be an ideal sub package edge rusher. Not gonna be a 3 down guy right now imo. Down for him in a trade down (outside top 10).

I have a nagging doubt with Polite, same as I had with Takk McKinley after hearing his draft speech.

Polite has openly stated that his motivation is to ensure his mother doesn't have to work again #Retiremoms.

Whilst that is an awesome sentiment, as a 1st round NFL pick he probably achieves his goal.

It scares me when people have achieved their goal, will he work as hard after? Can he set new goals?

The great ones set their sights on the Hall of Fame, some people make winning the Superbowl their goal, and then just aren't as good after, some are just wired to always compete.

If you've ever seen the film, think it's Rush, with the James Hunt Vs Nikki Lauder F1 championship story you'd understand.

Man this guy is only 20 too...

I'm in with this guy and a trade back if Bosa is gone.

I have yet to find any reason to think Polite is any less than a top 10 talent in this class. Hands down the second pass rusher I take after Bosa, personally.

I'm with OTC, I don't think he's any worse against the run than Burns or Allen, it's likely an issue of 2-3 inches of height and 15-20lbs.
