Michigan got some damn good QB's, but my money is on Shea Patterson to start. But I think Dylan McAffery will be the star of the bunch, he's destined to!!!

I love what the kid brings, there's no denying it. He is our leader, humble kid with that fire. He can throw from outside the pocket, has an arm and Harbaugh will cater to his strengths. I believe he was the missing link along with our line.
He won the starting job and Dylan Mcaffrey is backing him up thus far. He is handling his business and I believe signed a contract with the Texas Rangers. Very talented kid.
Athlon: Shea Patterson is Michigan's most important player

"With a talented team around him, Patterson is poised to have a big year for the Wolverines. Vegas oddsmakers thinks he will be one of the be one of the best players in the game this year. In the latest Heisman Trophy betting odds, Patterson has 20-to-1 odds to win college football's greatest individual prize."

"Dad helped Michigan's Shea Patterson turn boyhood dream into reality"

The way Harbaugh switched it up when Keap came and catered to him, is the same way he will cater to this kid. He is the truth. May very well be the #1 pick next year to the dolphins.
"In the latest WalterFootball.com mock draft, the Miami Dolphins are picking number one overall thus kicking off the 2019 draft. There are no parameters listed that I could find as to how the draft order was achieved.
Regardless, the Dolphins according to them will be so bad that they will have the first pick in the draft and there is no mention of Ryan Tannehill being hurt. With that pick the Dolphins are taking Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson. Here is what they had to say."

Sea Patterson part 2.
Shea Patterson a 20-to-1 favorite in Las Vegas to win Heisman Trophy

Shea Patterson
Dylan McCaffrey
Joe Milton
Brandon Peters looks like he is on the way out, the true freshman Joe Milton is beating him out for that 3rd spot is what I'm hearing.
To Kolohe's point, it's looking like it will be Dylan's team next year. Shea Patterson is too good and smart, he can make every throw and extend plays, might very well be that first pick over Oliver and Gary next year.

I'm really looking forward to seeing McCaffrey and Milton play. Obviously Shea is going to play a major part of this year, but if Harbaugh is still at U of M next year, Milton looks like a better version of Colin. I wish Colin would have had more of a drop back QB mentality than a Arby's mentality. I wish he'd have had more of Milton than Adrien Peterson.

Trieu: Michigan commit Eric Gray validates No. 1 all-purpose back ranking

Michigan football getting 'thunder and lightning' with running backs

"You know, people overuse the 'Thunder-Lightning' term," 247Sports recruiting analyst Steve Lorenz said, "but I really think Charbonnet and Gray would be as close to a 'Thunder and Lightning' combo as you're going to get as far as two high school running back verbal commitments." 🌩 ⚡️

I really like Pep Hamilton as the assistant OC.
Pep coached with Norv Turner and his version of Air Coryell.
.
Hamilton spent eight seasons in the NFL before teaming with Harbaugh at Stanford. He was the quarterbacks coach with the Chicago Bears for three seasons (2007-09) and was the offensive assistant and quarterbacks coach for the San Francisco 49ers (2006)

Turner comes from the Air Coryell tree. In case you aren't familiar, the Air Coryell is an offensive system named after former Chargers coach Don Coryell designed to stretch the field vertically on a consistent basis.

"Michigan fans can count their concerns about the 2018 football team on one hand. The defense has more than a handful of veteran leaders and NFL prospects. Young wide receivers like Donovan Peoples-Jones and Tarik Black are a threat on the outside, and the Wolverines have a two-headed monster in the backfield with Karan Higdon and Chris Evans. Most importantly, they have a proven commodity at quarterback. After transferring from Ole Miss, Shea Patterson is ready to lead Michigan to a Big Ten title."
Without even playing a full season's worth of games, Patterson threw for over 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns. That's markedly better than any other quarterback who has taken the field in the Jim Harbaugh era in Ann Arbor. Aside from a rather impressive resume, regardless of how abridged it may be, Patterson is also full of confidence going into a pivotal 2018 season for the Wolverines. In a piece titled "50 day, 50 voices" on ESPN, Patterson doesn't think many teams can hang with Michigan if the team plays to its potential."
That's a bold statement, but it may not be entirely untrue. Probably the most glaring deficiency on the Michigan roster is at offensive line. However, new offensive line coach Ed Warinner has drawn rave reviews for the work he's done with that unit since he arrived on campus. If that position group can get solidified, the Wolverines will undoubtedly be a championship caliber team."

WATCH: Is Michigan a 2018 National Title Contender?
by Steve Lorenz

https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/college/michigan/Article/Michigan-Wolverines-College-Football-Updates-2018-National-Championship-contenders-119789678/Amp/
"Do those on the national scene agree? Barton Simmons of 247Sports recently spoke with CBSSports.com to give his thoughts on what Michigan brings to the table this season.
Chris Hummer of 247Sports previewed the Wolverines earlier this spring and pointed to offensive progress as the key to a potentially big season."
Whoever plays quarterback will have a litany of skill talent around him with very few departures on offense," he wrote. "Ty Isaac is gone, but the Wolverines bring back the pair of Chris Evans and Karan Higdon. Evans, by the way, is one of the better pass-catching backs in the Big Ten. Receiver is an area the Wolverines are well stocked. The offense wasn't pass-heavy in 2017 in large part due to suspect QB play. But true freshmen like Donovan Peoples-Jones and Tarik Black flashed brightly at times. Michigan could use more depth at tight end, but the combination of Zach Gentry and Sean McKeon combined for 604 yards and five touchdowns a year ago. Gentry, particularly, turned into a vertical threat averaging a team-best 17.8 yards per catch (among players with more than 10 catches)."
All the pieces are there.

"4-star Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA) running back Zach Charbonnet is now 247Sports' No. 40 overall recruit, up from No. 219, and is the nation's No. 4 running back.
In the 247Sports Composite rankings, which take into account rankings from 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals, Charbonnet is the nation's No. 186 overall prospect and the No. 10 running back."
"Meanwhile, 4-star Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) defensive end David Ojabo — who moved from Nigeria to Scotland in 2007 before arriving at Blair Academy two years ago — had an even bigger leap in the rankings. 247Sports gave Ojabo a 4-star ranking and bumped him up to No. 193 overall; he was previously ranked No. 540."

"Michigan Recruiting: Charbonnet on the verge of five-star status"
"Michigan running back commitment Zach Charbonnet received an expected bump in the new 2019 Top247 rankings, moving all the way up to 40th overall in the country from 219th. The bump coincides with what we've reported throughout the process: Michigan had Charbonnet at the top of their recruiting board and believe he's one of the absolute best backs in the country."

From Dirty Jersey to the Golden state of California, Harbaugh is killing the recruiting scene, more on the way, 5 star and 4 star kids are putting Michigan in their top 5.

Tarik Black is coming back, DPJ is as versatile as they come, Nico Collins is as tall as the Jolly Green Giant and Oliver Martin is going to be the next stud slot receiver. This group is special.
