That was my type of football tonight. Pass rushers getting home; Linebackers cracking skulls; Good defense overall. Loved it.

Yup this was a good thing for us. Assuming both teams win the rest of their games heading into week 17. Rams will have to try and win to clinch home field.

2 things:
The Rams 2nd team > 49ers "starters"
If the 1st statement is false, I expect McVay to play his starters for a half at least. Unless he's some sort of masochist that doesn't want SF to get Bosa.

He's basically the D-Cord there. Only way he leaves was HC interviews anyways. I know Marinelli has the title, but I thought it was established Richard runs the defense/calls plays.

Best case scenario, imo, is that they go into the game able to tie for best record, but needing to win on point differential to get home field. They work to put it on us all game long to get the #1 seed, and they still beat us, but we score just enough points to keep them in the #2 spot. Win-win
