Number of Sacks doesn't tell the whole story. It's about having a productive unit and the eagles know how to do that and sustain it. They let Bennett walk because Barnett was playing so good last year, contributing to the nfls best defensive line before getting injured. They have no concerns with his development and ability to produce at a high level within the unit. Let them have the sacks, let them have the Khalil Mack's. We want winners!
Your idea of getting "winners" is finding players with less talent so they don't get huge contracts... Are you sure you're not John Gruden?

Idk if this has been posted. Pretty good watch.

Nice watch. Thanks for posting. Good to hear that behind the scenes stuff. I'm sure we love how competitive he is.

inb4 someone comes in saying he "quit" on his team instead of competing.

edit: Nick's voice does not match his body lol. Every time i hear him talk it's super surprising.

Lol, not a single GM in football would trade Garrett for Barnett. You're not convincing anyone arguing for why winding up with a lesser player is a good thing. The Eagles would take Garrett or Mack in a heartbeat.

So let's not act like Willie knows what the f**k he's talking about then any logical football mind would say Myles was the best edge prospect in that draft. Willie isn't a scout.

Like I said you gotta be careful when former players prop up certain prospects or s**t on others....they all have agents and if they share the same one there's bias that goes into it.
I'm starting to think some of this bosa hate is political. Bosa is apparently a maga guy,and I think that has people looking for reasons to hate him. After months of anti bosa posts, I'm really thinking that has a something to do with the vitriol.

And adding Bosa to a unit that includes Ford and Buckner is building a productive unit. A prospect who has shown he has developed multiple pass rush moves and counters and can play all 4 downs, whereas a guy like Allen will require development as a pass rusher. Bosa would also be on a rookie deal for the next 5 while Ford is starting his deal and Buckner is on the verge on a re-up, which helps with sustaining long term production and maintaining talent in the trenches without burying the franchise.
Concerned about explosiveness and arm length.

Didn't say he was a better player, just that mgninist wasn't off base with his opinion that at surface level would seem insane. Individually Mack and Garrett are a couple of the best in the business. As it relates to winning, fielding a sustainably good unit, there is a formula and it seems philly is content with Barnett being a part of it.

Of course they would take Garrett on a rookie deal, every team would, unfortunately this draft doesn't have a Garrett so when mcginist shares his opinion at the position, it comes from a place of conditioning, bb conditions a mindset of winning.

OK, NYniner85, permission to post the alternate video!
Barnett over Garrett is a bit of a head scratcher, but I always did find it funny that people ranked Solomon Thomas as a better edge prospect than Barnett. What a joke. You can't take most analysts or scouts seriously either. Watch the tape and form your own opinion.
