I get what you are saying, but that's more about genetic variation than anything else. Odds are that you don't get multiple genetic freaks from the same family. However, if both guys are superior athletes, the family relationship doesn't hurt either of them. Both of the Bosas are superior athletes.

I tried to get the vid but couldn't find any link.
This is what he said,

He added he's have no problem handling Bosa because all he has is great hands but average speed.
Thoughts??

Someone else brought this up earlier, along with Willie McGinest's take on Bosa and it should tell you as much as Kyle Long saying Solomon Thomas was the best player in the draft in 2017.
NFL players know the game very well but they're not better than scouts, in fact I highly doubt Woody or McGinest actually sat down and watched Nick's film. I'm pretty certain they throw on the highlights and check the stats like most casual draft followers. They don't get paid for their draft breakdowns. If Bosa goes on to win DROY and then defensive MVP on to a HOF career nobody will fire them.
And guys have their own bias. Bill Polian/Charlie Casserly whichever old white GM it was talking about Dwayne Haskins as being a mobile QB is a perfect example.
The film shows while he may not be Von Miller, he's got plenty of athletic ability to go with the hands, the technique. Maybe he won't be someone breaking the sack record but he'd be someone other teams fear.

Originally posted by genus49:so now you are comparing him against college opponents to Donald against NFL opposition?
That's ridiculous. He was a true sophomore and playing limited snaps. He put up numbers similar to what Aaron Donald did last year.
He averaged less sacks per snap to Donald last year.
He averaged more hurries and hits per snap to Donald last year.
The idea that he wasn't showing things on tape that popped is ridiculous.
He missed a chunk of this season where he was starting to show another level of play but yet people want to go back to his early tape from his 2nd season playing as proof of why he's overrated?
It's not a typical circumstance but he was rated as the #1 prospect because of what he did and the projection of how he would improve as a junior with more playing time.
You can complain about his competition but you play who you play. He had 4 sacks, 6 TFL in 3 games. He was straight up dominating before his injury.
