So WR or Corner in 2nd round? Im curious when they're going to pick ER. Will it be first or 2nd? Landry or, hopefully he falls, Arden Key in the 2nd.

It's looking like ER and CB right now, pick 1 (9) and 2 (59) then any choice of LB, WR, RB, DE or S at pick 3 (70) and 4 (74).

Rounds 4-7: T, G, C, QB or TE.

Only 12 out of the 30 possible private visits have been reported.

Come on, media guys, we need the rest.
Who likes athletic metrics and SPARQ percentiles? I know the 49ers do. I've compiled combine data and put it together in a spreadsheet to illustrate how the players being brought in for private visits measure up to their previous draft class. Obviously, the sample size is small with them only having one draft class under their belt. This will be more useful in the future with multiple drafts completed. Nonetheless, it's interesting to search for any potential patterns. One thing is clear: 49ers value athleticism.

Dark to light green is good to great metric at their position; Blue=**ELITE** metric at their position; Red=. Check out James Daniels. Multiple elite athletic metrics.

Thanks Hero!
^ LB seems to be falling down the list.

ER, CB and either WR and/or RB seem to be making a ton of sense and matches up with the Shannan M.O.

Shanahan Draft Tendencies per The Athletic / WZ Member synopsis

Trend #1: He rarely drafts Offensive players in RD 1
- Over 10 seasons Shanny's teams have drafted 4 offensive players in the first round and only at 2 different positions (OT: Brown and Williams) and QB (RGIII and Manziel)
- We are set at both of those positions

Trend #2: He NEVER drafted RB or TE before RD 3
- Only one offensive player ever picked in RD 2
- Joel Bitonio in 2014 (Browns) is the only time he's selected an O player in the 2nd round
- Generally finds his offensive talent later in the draft

Trend #3: He does draft Offense in RD 3:
- Nine (9) offensive players taken in this round over the last ten (10) drafts
- Finds undervalued players here, it is his sweet spot (notable names: Slaton, Reed, West, Coleman, Hooper)
- Looks for players who are better on tape than their combine measurables
- Very good hit rate here, Niners have picks 70 & 74 here

Tight Ends: The last three TEs drafted by Shanny (Reed, Hooper and Kittle) have all run 40's faster than 4.75 (combine average for TEs), he values athleticism, route running and catching over pass blocking.

Wide Receivers: Shanny has lacked recent success here, most of his best WRs were already drafted (Julio) or through FA (Garcon)

I'm on him!

It looks like T just moved way up the board: ER, CB, then WR and/or T.
