This FA edge class is bad. The Draft edge class isn't very good either. We should def target a guy like this later in the draft instead of reaching for a guy with our first pick.

Pretty much how I feel. All of my favorite edge prospects should be available in the third and later.

Add me to that list.

I definitely wouldn't complain if we took one in 2nd one in 3rd/4th.

The last thing we need is a strong side end.

Tank is a FA along with Douz. AA is in a contract year, I think we could use a cheap pure base DE with pass rush upside.

Strong side, weak side, it doesn't matter. The 49ers need an edge that can get to the QB.

Street reminds me of Charles Johnson, who ironically was released today.

So bring in Johnson to mentor this dude?

How do you feel about Harold, Pita and Gilbert going forward?

Check out this get off. God damn. He kicked the ASU LT's ass the entire game.

He killed it at the shrine game. That's some serious burst for 285lbs.
Very nice prospect who I think would be around in the 4th and I'd have no problem if he was the pick, he actually reminds me of Shaq Lawson coming out..

Sounds like this dude needs to drop some weight and put him at elephant full time.
Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated lists NC State edge-rusher Kentavius Street at the top of his list of potential "freaks" to watch at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Street is a ridiculous athlete, and no one should be surprised if he ranks at or near the top of the lists during his time at Indianapolis. "Street is expected to weigh in at 6'2" and around 285 pounds, and don't be surprised if he's clocked in the 4.5s in the 40-yard dash," writes Feldman. "At 281 pounds last year, he ran an electronically timed 4.58, vertical jumped 40 inches, benched 475 pounds and squatted 700." Ridiculous. Those skills didn't always translate on the football field, but someone who believes Street can be coached up could take the defender on Day 2.

I wonder how many reps he puts up on the bench. I'm setting the line at 35.

and taking the over.

Holy s**t lol.

Might not make it into the fourth with those numbers.

yeah wouldn't be surprised. Wish he wasn't 285 LBs though feel like that's too big for a LEO. Zierlein comps him to Robert Blair and I can see that.
I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped some pounds for the combine.

I don't like the Ronald Blair comp. I think Street is a better athlete and a natural edge. Watch Charles Johnson play and then Street. That's who he reminds me of.
