2018 NFL Scouting Combine Thread

The Cards beat guy is at the Combine, he has provided some great in-depth info.

-He's spoken to all the top QBs and says that Rudolph and Rosen are by far the most impressive when it comes to their demeanor and personality.

-Cards are huge on Christian Kirk as a potential 2nd rounder.

-Barkley and Nelson are blowing up the Combine buzz. He expects both to go Top 5.

-Will Hernandez has a ton of people raving about him, like a younger, more athletic Iupati.

Arians on his media rounds recommended Alex for the Cards (after he retired, before the Alex trade).

Same GM. They were in on the Alex trade talks but weren't willing to give up as much as Wash was.

They've met with Kyle Lauletta twice and a lot of people here think that they could be a prime trade up candidate for a QB.

Again my point wasnt the amount it was....nevermind bro nevermind

I said Chubb wasn't ideal for this system and your rebuttal was something about Guice

Sorry if I'm missing whatever your saying.
All of these RB's are going long before we pick in the 2nd.

So many good ones, someone will be there.
I'm disappointed about Jones pulling a hammy. I think he would translate great into our system and I was curious about his overall performance.

Terrell Davis:
1484 yds. -1995
1848 yds. - 1996
2037 yds - 1998.
2225 yds. - 1999

Everybody dreams of finding a gold mine in their back yard. Everyone dreams of Daddy Shanny's 6th round choice.

Might cause him to fall to a good spot for us to take him if Shanny wants him.

Someone will be there at our second pick that shouldn't be at RB. Its just too deep a class.

Could be a blessing in disguise for us if we are targeting him. But yeah I wanted to see his overall performance too brah

Rosen plays Hero ball without the body to take on the punishment. I think it goes Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen and then Jackson until he moves further in his development. Allen physically might be the most talented but his accuracy and instinct suck.

I don't think Jackson is all that far behind, especially having played in an offense with a lot of pro style concepts. His running ability will give him the chance to make a huge impact early on. How he progresses as a passer from the pocket will really determine how good he can be.

I agree. Jackson showed a lot of progress going through his reads this year.

I can't tell if its just lazy film study, stereotyping, blatant racism or a combination of all of the above for why people keep bringing up a switch to WR for him.

I for one like/liked him as a QB in the right fit. HOWEVER, i honestly thought ge was smaller than he is. With pads on he looks tiny. Im shocked by his measurements to be honest

I thought 6 foot or under and under 200 pounds

I got to watch him for most of his games. I think he can be a decent pro & I'm a big Jackson fan. Jackson's worst games came vs defenses that made him throw. He has great touch but he has to have the threat of running to be successful imo.
