I REALLY hope that's not true.

Why create a hole at an important position that has a high end player for a 2nd round pick. I don't care if he's not a great scheme fit, he's worth much more than a 2nd rd pick in this crappy OT class. If we trade him and pick McGlinchey I'm gonna be so f**king pissed. Best case he's as good as Brown and he could very easily bust which means adding a hole and losing the 9th pick all at once.

Idk a high 2nd for T.Brown may not be that bad. I mean Jimmy G was the same price. Just imagine it being like we traded T.Brown for JimmyG and jumping up 4 picks in the 2nd.

It definitely lowers Brown's trade value that he only has one year left on his rookie deal. Would be way to optimistic to say that teams are willing to give up their first. Maybe late first but definitely not anything earlier than that.
