Yeah, the (can play the run) just means Saleh can leave him at LEO every down and not have to split roles between a base down LEO who's better suited for run downs and an edge rusher who's better for pass rushing on 3rd down.

That's ideal...a guy who can bring a pass rush on ANY down (because you
never know when a team will pass) and a guy who can be equally effective against the run in case a team does try and run.

Your sentiment is bang on, but I really don't see OO playing the run well from LEO, regardless of that report, some of these LT's are monsters, he couldn't even handle Crosby on Day 1.

It's certainly something to watch out for.

That said, we have so many base down run defenders, him playing on early downs isn't a must right out of the gate and we could work him into an every down LEO like Aldon Smith over time.

It's expected you'll lose some run defense at LEO but it's a sacrifice DC's are willing to make in this passing league.

I'd take a 3rd round pick.
A very good week at Senior Bowl practice. He showed in 11 on 11 sessions to be a highly disruptive edge rusher. If you get your hands on him, he's pretty much done. But, he is a smooth cat chasing the QB.

The kid looks explosive off the edge.

Starting to look like one of the top edge rushers will fall into our lap at #9/10 if both Chubb and Davenport also stay in the top 10 . Hopefully Lynch likes him too.
Obo's COD gives tackles fits. He consistently wins with bobs and jab steps, which are set up beautifully by the speed rush.

It was Alex Cappa, I'm glad he struggled at Tackle, dude can come and play Guard for us.

OO probably took himself away from us, I think he goes around 20
So, now the question is.......,will the Niners take him at #9/10 or would they trade back a few spots and take him somewhere in the teens?
