He will go early to mid 2nd round. He will be the 4th edge player off the board. Sweat might drop a little further due to his horror injury history and playing out of position a bit last season. I don't want to be in the position of crossing our fingers and hoping we fill the biggest need on our roster.

Oh, Ok, I thought it was injured or something. Those numbers (as you said) are solid. Love to have him!

Yup I'd love him in red and gold! He confusing to figure out as far as where he might get drafted. I've seen 1st rd all to way to like the 4th rd.

I just read the Bill Walsh thread and the vets here reminicing about that 1981 draft and how Bill Walsh addressed the Defensive Back need. I personally think it would be great if Kyle did the same approach that Bill did in basically overdrafting the DB position by drafting Lott, Write, and Williamson. If so, I'd love to see Landry, Obo, and another edge rusher in the 2018 draft!

I have a feeling you are right. He's one hell of an athlete.

I'm just thinking of the other teams who don't land Landry... And need a pass rusher.

Which is at least 1/3 of the league

Lol. I know a team in Los Angeles who is desperate for one. I wouldn't doubt them trading away picks from next year's draft. This could really backfire on them eventually is the good news. Let's hope we still Smash them out and the rest will take care of itself

Quarterbacks and Pass Rushers, yep, those are the players that are pretty darn impossible to get via free agency. You just have to draft them. I wouldn't be surprised if we go pass rusher/DLineman again next year - that would make it 5 years in a row if we did that this and next year.

Maybe he knows he's on a one year deal. I don't know how Led Snead survived the Jeff Fisher purge, but I think he's in a similar situation to Baalke after Harbaugh in that if he doesn't win soon he's otta there.
The Foster stuff was too depressing so I put this guy's tape back on, I have a nagging thought that he might be physically maxed out (if you haven't seen his pro day do it, Guy is yolked!).

I can't escape the beauty of his all round game, he's a warrior, stronger at the point of attack than given credit for, has a great motor, loads of moves and his first step is as good as anyone's (including Landry).

His bend is also underrated (not quite Landry's) and he gives tackles fits. He may not quite have the production (though I think drawing holding penalties should be a stat) but I really believe he is the 2nd best pass rusher in this class behind Chubb.
Obo, the slayer of quarterbacks.

Niners, y u no meet with Obo.
